Influencer Warns Against Visiting Argentina After Crypto Millionaire’s Murder
  • Crypto millionaire Fernando Pérez Algaba was found dead and chopped up in a suitcase in Argentina.
  • Influencer Ben Armstrong responded to this news with: “Note to self: Don’t visit Argentina.”
  • Crypto Twitter, however, explained to Armstrong that such incidents only happen to scammers like him.

Popular crypto influencer Ben Armstrong tweeted, “Note to self: Don’t visit Argentina” to the news of crypto millionaire Fernando Pérez Algaba being found dead and chopped up in a suitcase in Argentina.

The news of the millionaire’s death hit the stands early yesterday when police departments in the country revealed gruesome details about the murder to the public. Algaba’s body was reportedly found by two children in a town in Buenos Aires after they opened a red suitcase found by a stream.

“The body parts were cleanly amputated, suggesting the work of a professional,” stated local media reports. It was also discovered that prior to the dismemberment, Algaba was shot several times. Investigators identified the trader’s body by his distinctive tattoos.

Algaba, who was a known crypto influencer in Spain, traveled to Argentina for unknown reasons. Police officers suspect that Algaba had gotten in trouble with local gangs over financial issues and was murdered over not repaying debts.

However, Armstrong’s comments did not sit well with his followers. Several users maintained that it was not the fault of the country and was a result of Algaba’s misdeeds. “Note to self: Visit Argentina. Food is good and chicks are hot. Don’t advertise that you’re a crypto millionaire. Problem solved,” said an analyst that goes by the name “Not Tiger Global.” While another user commented, “He owed money to the wrong people and then continue to dare them to kill him…they don’t xxxx around in South America.”

Several others from the community also hinted that this is what would happen to unscrupulous influencers. “I mean with the number of people you scammed It’s very likely it happens to you as well,” said one member. “Note to you: You are crooked too and that’s why you don’t want to visit Argentina,” said another.
