US-based crypto exchange Kraken has officially announced the commencement of trading for Bricks (BRICK) and Moons (MOON) on its platforms, particularly spot and derivative markets.
According to Kraken, the trading phase began on Monday, with users granted access to fund their BRICK and MOON holdings. However, the report noted that only deposits made via the Arbitrum Nova network will be accepted, as deposits from other networks will be unfortunately lost.
BRICK and MOON are available for trading on the mainstream Kraken exchange app and Kraken Pro, featuring distinct parameters within the spot and futures market.
For the spot market, both tokens are paired with USD and EUR. Additionally, BRICK features an asset decimal precision of two, a minimum order size of 50, and a minimum deposit of 50. On the other hand, MOON has an asset decimal precision of three and a minimum order and deposit size of ten.
The symbol PF_MOONUSD represents MOON as the base currency for those interested in perpetual futures. Traders can place orders with a minimum of one, a tick size of 0.00001, and a maximum position of 2,000,000 base units. The impact mid is 400 MOON, with the margin class categorized as Class E.
While trading via Kraken and Instant Buy, availability will be contingent upon fulfilling liquidity conditions, according to the firm.
MOON debuted in May 2020 as part of Reddit’s Community Points initiative. MOON is an ERC-20 token designed to reward contributors to the r/CryptoCurrency subreddit. Holders can leverage MOON tokens to access premium features and tip other members while wielding voting power in subreddit polls.
Similarly, BRICK launched under Reddit’s Community Points project within the r/FortNiteBR subreddit, employing the ERC-20 standard. Distribution of BRICK tokens occurs periodically based on user karma earned in the subreddit.
