KuCoin’s PROOF: Go The Distance campaign is entering its second stage on October 8, with the focus shifting to futures trading. The futures phase offers 560,000 USDT in total rewards through three activities:

  • Solo Contest — an individual trading competition
  • Team Battle — a team-based P&L competition
  • Daily Lucky Draw — daily chances to win rewards

KuCoin is also introducing Futures Arena, a points rewards system that lets qualifying trading performance count across multiple competitions. The competitions offer immediate ways to win rewards, while Futures Arena provides an ongoing way for eligible performance to earn recognition.

The Daily Lucky Draw starts October 8, while the Solo Contest and Team Battle begin October 12. Each activity has its own registration period and rules, so participants should check the requirements separately.

Futures Phase: Three Ways to Participate

The futures phase has three main activities:

  • Daily Lucky Draw: Runs from October 8 to October 30. Traders can enter by trading as little as  100 USDT in futures. Other campaign tasks can provide additional entries.
  • Solo Contest — Volume: Runs from October 12 to October 30. Traders compete individually, with rankings based on eligible trading volume. The contest has a prize pool of up to 100,000 USDT. Traders who finish in the top 200 can earn USDT and Futures Points.
  • Team Battle — P&L: Also runs from October 12 to October 30. Traders compete in teams, with rankings based on the team’s profit and loss. The prize pool is up to 60,000 USDT. Furthermore, the team battle is backed by our Upgraded Referral Engine- invite friends to trade 500 USDT in futures to unlock 50 USDT airdrops for each of you and an instant 35% commission boost.

For the Team Battle, users can create or join teams from October 8 to October 22. There is also an Early-Bird Team Reward from October 8 to October 15, where eligible participants can receive an extra 50 USDT  in airdrop position.

Overall, traders have several ways to take part: trade individually, compete as a team, or enter the daily lucky draw. The first 1000 new users can win a 50 USDT Futures Position Airdrop, so act fast!

The Solo Contest also introduces Futures Points, giving eligible traders an additional way to earn rewards beyond the main competition prizes.

Futures Points: Rewards That Continue Beyond One Competition

KuCoin’s new Futures Points system allows qualifying trading performance to count beyond a single campaign. Individual futures competitions can run on monthly, quarterly, or annual cycles. Traders who finish in the top 200 based on the competition’s performance metric can earn Futures Points.

The metric can vary. For the Go The Distance Solo Contest, rankings are based on trading volume. Other competitions may use trading volume or P&L.

Simply registering for a competition does not earn points. Traders must meet the required performance level. For the Solo Contest, that means finishing in the top 200 by eligible trading volume.

This gives traders two ways to earn rewards:

  • Competition prizes provide immediate rewards.
  • Futures Arena provides rewards through KuCoin’s ongoing points system.

So, traders can compete for the Solo Contest prize pool while also earning Futures Points if they meet the qualifying requirements.

Quarterly Volume Affects the Futures Points Multiplier

The Futures Points system also rewards continued trading throughout each quarter. Eligible trading volume is added up during the quarter. As the volume increases, the Futures Points multiplier rises through different levels, from 1.01× to 1.10×.

In simple terms, traders can increase their multiplier by maintaining qualifying activity during the quarter. There are two parts to the system:

  • Your performance in an individual competition determines whether you qualify for Futures Points.
  • Your total eligible trading volume during the quarter determines your multiplier.

Users can redeem points for different rewards, including fee-discount vouchers and airdrop positions. Participants can also redeem USDT rewards if they keep their points until December 2026, subject to the applicable rules and the point validity (points expire in 90 days).

Importantly, redeeming points does not reset your accumulated trading volume. Your volume continues to count toward your quarterly multiplier even after you use your points.

Dashboard Helps Track Everything

KuCoin’s Futures Points system also includes a personalised dashboard. The dashboard lets traders see:

  • Their current performance
  • Results from previous competitions
  • Their current multiplier level

This is useful because Futures Points are part of an ongoing system, not a single competition. The Go The Distance futures phase has clear start and end dates. Futures Points work differently, linking qualifying results across multiple competitions. The dashboard brings this information together, making it easier for traders to track their progress over time.

How the Futures Activities Differ

All the activities are part of the same campaign, but they work differently:

ActivityDatesHow it works
Daily Lucky DrawOct. 8–30Trade at least 100 USDT in qualifying futures to enter. Extra tasks can give more entries.
Solo Contest — VolumeOct. 12–30Traders compete based on individual trading volume. Prize pool: up to 100,000 USDT. Top 200 can earn Futures Points.
Team Battle — P&LOct. 12–30Teams compete based on their combined P&L. Prize pool: up to 60,000 USDT. The first 1000 new users can win a 50 UDT Futures Position Airdrop.
Team EnlistmentOct. 8–22Create or join a team. Invite friends to trade 500 USDT in futures to unlock 50 USDT airdrops (Limited to the first 1000 qualified referrals) for each of you and an instant 35% commission boost.
Early-Bird Team RewardOct. 8–15Eligible team-battle participants can receive an extra 50 USDT.

These activities have different rules and rewards. For example:

  • The Solo Contest ranks traders by individual trading volume.
  • The Team Battle ranks teams by P&L.
  • The Lucky Draw requires as little as 100 USDT in qualifying trading plus any required campaign tasks.
  • Futures Points are mainly linked to individual competition performance.

The same trading activity may count toward more than one activity when the rules allow it. However, each activity still has its own eligibility requirements, rankings, and rewards.

The Bigger Idea Behind Go The Distance

The second stage of Go The Distance is not just about futures trading. It gives users several ways to participate from October 8 to October 30. Futures Points add another layer by connecting qualifying results to future competitions. Instead of each competition being a separate event, the Futures Points system is designed to continue across monthly, quarterly, and annual competitions. The quarterly multiplier also rewards continued qualifying trading volume.

For Go The Distance participants, the October competitions still have their own rules and rewards. But traders who finish in the top 200 of the Solo Contest can also earn Futures Points and continue building toward future rewards.

The futures phase offers 560,000 USDT in advertised rewards. This is separate from the wider Go The Distance campaign, which advertises more than 800,000 USDT in total rewards.

In short, Go The Distance offers rewards for the current competitions, while Futures Points are designed to keep qualifying traders engaged across future competitions.

What Participants Need to Know Before October 8

Before joining, participants should decide which activity they want to enter, as each has different dates and requirements.

  • Team Battle: Join or create a team from October 8–22.
  • Early-Bird Team Reward: Runs from October 8–15.
  • New User Reward: The first 1000 qualified new sign-ups.
  • Referral Reward: The first 1000 qualified referrals.
  • Daily Lucky Draw: Starts October 8. At least 100 USDT in qualifying futures trading is required to enter.
  • Solo Contest and Team Battle: Both run from October 12–30.

To earn Futures Points, simply registering is not enough. You need to perform well in the individual competition. For the Solo Contest, the top 200 traders by eligible volume can qualify for points.

Participants can also use the Futures Points dashboard to track their results, past competitions and current multiplier.

Overall, the second stage of Go The Distance combines short-term competitions with a longer-term rewards system. Traders can compete individually, as a team, or through the daily draw, while qualifying individual performance can also earn Futures Points for future competitions.

Because the rules and reward conditions can change, participants should check KuCoin’s official campaign and Futures Points pages for the latest eligibility rules, registration dates, prize details, and redemption conditions before trading.
