Ran NeuNer, Founder of Crypto Banter, along with Sheldon The Sniper, a Crypto Analyst, will be conducting a live session talking about The Merge, on the Youtube channel Crypto Banter. The live session will talk about the biggest event in crypto history, Ethereum’s Merge.

As part of a special broadcast of Crypto Banter, Ran and Sheldon will analyze The Merge from both, a charting and a fundamental perspective.

The Merge will be activated after the Terminal Total Difficulty (TTD) reaches 58750000000000000000000. After that particular TTD is reached, the first PoS block will be created on the Ethereum blockchain, which would take approximately 13 minutes.

At the time of writing, the current total difficulty is 58749299012835133516771. With the current hash rate of 750.3 TH/s, TTD would be achieved on September 15 at 6:44 UTC.

The Merge will join the existing execution layer, with the new proof-of-stake consensus layer. It eliminates the need for energy-intensive mining by reducing Ethereum’s energy consumption by 99.95% and secures the network. Moreover, Ethereum also advises users who prefer better scalability and cheaper fees to use Layer 2, which includes Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

Crypto Banter is a Go-To live streaming, news, educational Bitcoin, Defi, NFT, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency channel. The Youtube channel interviews the biggest crypto industry guests, Billionaires, thought leaders, and professional traders every single day.

At the time of writing, Ethereum is priced at $1,593.23 with a fall of 2.61% in the past seven days. But the coin has dipped by 0.44% in the past hour. If the Merge succeeds, the Ethereum price is expected sore to the upside, however, if it fails, the Ethereum price could be sent to new lows.
