  • QNT holds above $252 support as buyers target resistance near $305.65 and $320.
  • Overbought Stoch RSI signals rising consolidation risks after QNT’s sharp rally.
  • Open interest surged to $158.8M, increasing volatility risks as spot flows turn negative.

Quant (QNT) has drawn strong market attention after The Clearing House selected Quant for its tokenized commercial bank deposit network. The move places Quant at the center of infrastructure connecting digital deposits with established payment systems.

The network will focus on clearing and settling tokenized deposits on-chain. It will also support interoperability, transaction management, and connections to existing payment rails. These include the Real-Time Payments network and CHIPS.

Consequently, traders have reacted strongly to the development, sending QNT sharply higher. The token has gained 35.76% over 24 hours and nearly 300% over seven days. QNT now trades around $258.59, with its market capitalization near $3.76 billion.

Quant Rally Gains Momentum

QNT recently climbed from the $55 area toward a high near $320.03. The move pushed the token far above its major daily moving averages. QNT currently trades above the 20 EMA at $114.44. It also remains above the 50 EMA at $85.73. Additionally, price holds well above the 100 EMA at $75.91 and 200 EMA at $73.44.

However, the sharp advance has also created conditions for increased volatility. The Stoch RSI currently stands around 95.20 and 98.40. Those readings indicate heavily overbought momentum after the rapid rally. Hence, traders may see consolidation if buying pressure begins to weaken.

$252 Support Becomes Crucial

QNT recently pulled back after reaching $320.03, but buyers continue defending higher levels. The $252.08 Fibonacci level now represents an important area for the current structure. Holding above that level could keep the broader bullish trend intact.

Significantly, QNT faces immediate resistance between $286 and $305.65. A sustained move above $305.65 could put the $320.03 swing high back into focus. Beyond that level, $373.88 represents another major Fibonacci resistance area.

Conversely, a break below $252.08 could expose $241.94 as the next downside level. Further weakness could then bring $214.46 into focus. The $176.84 and $130.28 levels provide additional support zones.

Derivatives Activity Raises Volatility Risks

QNT’s open interest has expanded sharply toward the end of the observed period. Open interest climbed above $30 million during September before accelerating dramatically. The latest reading reached approximately $158.80 million.

Moreover, the increase suggests significantly greater speculative participation in QNT derivatives. However, rising open interest alongside a rapid price increase can amplify market swings. Traders may therefore watch liquidations closely if momentum reverses.

Spot flows also show changing market behavior. QNT recorded a brief net inflow above $13 million on September 28. That inflow later reversed into approximately $5.66 million in net outflows.

Technical Outlook For Quant Price

Key levels remain well-defined heading into October:

Upside levels: $286–$305 represents the immediate resistance zone. A breakout above $305.65 could open the path toward $320.03 and potentially $373.88.

Downside levels: $252.08 remains the key Fibonacci support, followed by $241.94 and $214.46. Deeper support sits at $176.84 and $130.28.

Resistance ceiling: $320.03, the recent swing high, remains the critical level for renewed bullish momentum. A decisive break could strengthen the broader uptrend and expose the $373.88 extension.

Will Quant Go Up?

Quant’s price prediction for October hinges on whether buyers can defend the $252.08 support zone after the recent surge. QNT remains significantly above its major moving averages, although the Stoch RSI shows heavily overbought conditions. If buyers reclaim $305.65, QNT could retest $320.03 before targeting $373.88.

However, losing $252.08 could trigger a deeper correction toward $214.46. Rising open interest and shifting spot flows also suggest elevated volatility ahead. For now, QNT remains in a pivotal zone, with institutional developments and technical confirmation likely to shape the next major move.
