  • Remixpoint sells all altcoins for ¥878.8M, leaving Bitcoin as its only crypto holding.
  • ETH, SOL and XRP sales made profits, while DOGE was the only losing trade.
  • The move adds to Japan’s growing trend of companies adopting Bitcoin treasury strategies.

Japanese listed company Remixpoint has moved to a Bitcoin-only crypto strategy after selling all its Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE) holdings for ¥878.8 million. The sale leaves Remixpoint with about 1,506 BTC as its only cryptocurrency holding.

Remixpoint Sells All Four Altcoins

Remixpoint sold 901.45 ETH for ¥353.43 million, making a realized profit of ¥60.2 million. It sold 13,920.07 SOL for ¥227.89 million, recording a ¥49.3 million gain. The company also sold about 1.19 million XRP for ¥260.43 million, generating a ¥11.52 million profit.

Dogecoin was the only losing trade. Remixpoint sold 2.8 million DOGE for ¥37.08 million, compared with a book value of ¥40.34 million. The sale resulted in a ¥3.26 million loss.

Together, the four altcoin holdings had a book value of ¥761.04 million and were sold for ¥878.81 million. That produced a combined realized profit of about ¥117.77 million.

Remixpoint also earned nearly ¥29.9 million in staking rewards from ETH and SOL between July 2025 and August 2026.

Why Bitcoin Won

Remixpoint said it reviewed market conditions, the risks and returns of individual cryptocurrencies, and its broader financial strategy before deciding to focus its crypto holdings and operations solely on Bitcoin

The company also plans to use the sale proceeds in other areas, including growth investments such as large-scale energy storage, strengthening its financial position and increasing shareholder value.

Japan’s Bitcoin Treasury Trend

Remixpoint has steadily increased its Bitcoin holdings, growing from a few hundred BTC in late 2024 to more than 1,500 BTC in 2026.

It is part of a wider shift among Japanese listed companies toward Bitcoin treasury strategies. Metaplanet is the most prominent example, while other companies have also increased their BTC exposure.

The move strengthens the case for Bitcoin as the leading corporate crypto reserve asset. More companies choosing BTC-only strategies would create a steady source of corporate demand for Bitcoin.

For altcoins, the message is less positive. Corporate investors may start treating Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies differently when building long-term treasury strategies.
