New accumulation frenzies have reinforced Shiba Inu’s position as the third-largest holding of the prominent American exchange Robinhood. Pro-Shiba Inu crypto enthusiast Lola called attention to the development in a recent tweet.
Citing statistics from well-known crypto market analytic firm Arkham Intelligence, Lola disclosed that the U.S.-based trading platform now holds a staggering 36.825 trillion units of SHIB tokens.
Furthermore, Lola disclosed that Robinhood attained the significant value of SHIB tokens with a new addition involving 140 billion Shiba Inu. Interestingly, she suggested the exchange had been drained of its Bitcoin holding amid the new SHIB token acquisition.
Specifically, Robinhood’s Shiba Inu holdings were 36.685 trillion, while its BTC portfolio was 131,438. These figures are verifiable with an older screenshot from Lola. While the new data indicates the exchange now oversees 36.825 trillion SHIB, its BTC holdings decreased. In particular, it now holds 468 BTC less, valued at $19,449,144.
Meanwhile, Lola’s recent post built on a previous update where she disclosed that the American trading outlet had accumulated over 231 billion Shiba Inu tokens in under 24 hours. The observation was on Wednesday, January 17. In other words, Robinhood’s Shiba Inu holding has grown by 371 billion in under four days.
With Shiba Inu’s prevailing market value, the 36.825 trillion SHIB in Robinhood is worth $347.63 million. This dollar value makes Shiba Inu the third largest token under the exchange’s watch after Bitcoin and Ethereum. Notably, Robinhood’s Shiba Inu portfolio is more than twice that of Avalanche (AVAX), the coin that followed closely.
Furthermore, Arkham Intelligence data indicated that with over 36 trillion SHIB tokens, Robinhood is the third largest holder of Shiba Inu, excluding the burn address. Ranking above the exchange were only Crypto.com and Binance.
