The Shiba Inu community members eagerly await another substantial SHIB burn utilizing Shibarium gas fees by the Shiba Inu development team. This bullish anticipation comes amid the date schedules the Shiba Inu team outlined in SHIB’s magazine for manual burns to occur. 

Specifically, the dates are  December 14, 15, and 16. Given that the proposed dates have now materialized, the SHIB Army brews in anticipation of the burn endeavor commencing. In a recent tweet, a Spain-based Shiba Inu OG remarked, “SHIB massive burns is about to start,” alongside enthusiastic fire-depicting emojis.

It is worth noting that the anticipated burn event will be based on the accumulated gas fees from transactions on Shiba Inu’s blockchain Shibarium. According to data from a tracking resource, the accumulated gas BONE tokens on Shibarium amount to a dollar value of $1,076,140 at the time of writing.

Previously, Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama affirmed the team’s move to use Shibarium gas fees to burn SHIB tokens solely. This disclosure occurred amid Kusama’s conversation with a BONE token enthusiast. The enthusiast shared a screenshot showcasing a dashboard featuring the accumulated BONE tokens through Shibarium transactions. Significantly, he proposed utilizing the amassed $1.21 million at the time of the screenshot to conduct burns for SHIB and BONE tokens.

However, Kusama rejected the suggestion. He noted that the funds would be allocated solely for burning SHIB. Nonetheless, the SHIB Army still awaits the commencement of the proposed burn endeavor for this week.

It is worth noting that the Shiba Inu team executed the inaugural Shibarium-powered burn on December 4, annihilating 8.2 billion SHIB tokens in a single transaction. The transaction was worth over $70,000  at the time.
