Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has been responding to tweets about some people wanting nothing to do with Shiba Eternity and SHIB’s blockchain game with a pettable dog in it. One user went as far as to call it a “planet-burning scam” and told the SHIB founder to take the scam somewhere else.
Sad response from someone that is ill informed. #SHIBAETERNITY is for the app stores and not our blockchain game… and like others who underestimated us, you too will learn that we are not a meme.
Either way YOU CAN PET THE DOG in our game. #SHIBARMY https://t.co/VtxQee30do

Kusama responded to these allegations in his tweet on August 16, by saying that those were “sad responses from someone that is ill informed.” He further clarified that “Shiba Eternity is for the app stores and not our blockchain game.” He also mentioned that Shib Eternity is not a meme.
On the contrary, Shiba Eternity is already seeing great popularity in Vietnam, revealed William Volk, a top director of Shiba Inu Games. In fact, it is so popular that the team had to increase the capacity of gameplay servers fifty-fold due to the higher-than-expected demand.
The high popularity of the game in Vietnam is probably due to the fact that Vietnamese iOS users have an opportunity to participate in the early testing of Shiba Eternity. Most of these participants then took to social media, where they posted videos of themselves trying out the card-based battle game.
Shiba Eternity was created in partnership with Melbourne, Australia-based game developer PlaySide Studios. Shiba Inu Games and the top Australian gaming company, which is known for games like Animal Warfare and Area 51, joined forces in early December.
Additionally, many people reported that the price of SHIB basically went “ballistic” this week. SHIB is now the 12th biggest crypto in terms of market cap, according to CoinMarketCap, and is currently up about 2,89% over the last 24 hours.
