Bitget, a global leader in cryptocurrency exchange services, has partnered with three of Turkey’s most accomplished national athletes, Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, Samet Gümüş, and İlkin Aydın, as part of its #MakeItCount campaign.

The exchange disclosed this strategic partnership via an official press statement today, as seen by Coin Edition. Notably, the #MakeItCount campaign began with football superstar Lionel Messi in 2022. According to the report, the latest move in the initiative aims to inspire and empower users in Turkey by aligning with the country’s top sports figures.

Notably, the three athletes embody the symbols of perseverance, positive passion, and the belief that “no progress is too small.” These values resonate with Bitget’s mission through the #MakeItCount campaign, which seeks to motivate audiences to reach new heights and make a significant impact.

Reacting to the collaboration, Vugar Usi Zade, Bitget’s Chief Operating Officer, emphasized that the new partners’ beliefs align with the exchange’s core values. In Zade’s words

Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, a wrestling champion, has earned numerous victories, including European and World Championship titles, exemplifying perseverance and sportsmanship. 

Samet Gümüş, a two-time European Championship gold medalist in flyweight professional boxing, is just 22 years old and inspires the younger generation with his positive passion for the sport. 

İlkin Aydın, a dynamic member of the Turkish Women’s Volleyball team, showcases her skill and intense passion for volleyball, living the mantra that “No progress is too small.”

These partnerships come at a time when Turkey’s cryptocurrency market is experiencing significant growth. Bitget has reported impressive growth metrics from Q4 2023 to Q1 2024, increasing signups by over 70%. Also, total trading volume surged by more than 270%, and net deposit amounts climbed by 240%.
