Shiba Inu gaming consultant William Volk took to Twitter and announced he will be attending Gamescom this August to showcase the Shiba Eternity Game, a strategy-rich collectible card game (CCG) based on a dog-themed meme cryptocurrency, with fans and excited gamers.
The legendary video game designer tweeted “Off to Gamescom to show off #ShibaEternity (it looks so good!).” He also added an image teasing SHIB fans to guess what is in the bags he’s carrying to the event.
Gamescom is the world’s largest game trade fair organized by an association of the German video game industry, held in Cologne, Germany every year. The event accommodated over 370,000 visitors in 2018 along with 1,037 exhibitors from 56 nations, and this year it is scheduled to run from August 24th to August 28th, 2022.
Volk is excited to share the game with a charged community and also anticipates mainstream adoption of the Shiba Inu Play-To-Earn (P2E) game christened Shiba Eternity once its launched. The developers also expect enormous adoption, hence they increased the game server capacity by 50 times to sustain more players onboarding from the Vietnam test launch.
Volk was announced as the Shiba Eternity Consultant in 2021 by Shiba Inu Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama. Working directly with the game developers, AAA game studio, Volk’s appointment was celebrated by the community due to his expert history in game development.
Promoted to the VP of Technology at Activision in 1991, Volk then moved on to co-found the first game that was launched on Apple Store.
