BingX EU has received a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) license from Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA). This allows the company to offer regulated crypto services in 29 European Economic Area (EEA) countries, subject to approval under passporting rules.
The license was granted to MEGE zweite GmbH, which operates as BingX EU and is based in Vienna, Austria. The approval marks an important step in BingX’s expansion into Europe as crypto companies adapt to the region’s regulations.
With the license, BingX EU can offer crypto custody and exchange services to retail and institutional customers while complying with European rules on investor protection and market integrity.
BingX EU Plans to Expand Regulated Crypto Services in Europe
BingX EU CEO Daniel Lai said the company wants to offer European users a safe and locally regulated crypto trading experience. He said the MiCAR license would help BingX combine innovation with security, transparency, and accountability while supporting the growth of Europe’s crypto industry.
BingX EU also plans to keep working with Austria’s Financial Market Authority and other European regulators as it prepares to launch its services across the European Economic Area (EEA).
BingX Expands Globally
Founded in 2018, BingX is a multi-asset trading platform with over 40 million users worldwide, according to the company. The company has also expanded into sports, becoming Chelsea FC’s principal partner in 2024 and Scuderia Ferrari HP’s official team partner in 2026.
