Bitget Launches Stock+ to Let Users Buy US Stocks With Crypto
  • Bitget launches Stock+, enabling users to buy real US stocks using USDC and crypto.
  • Stock+ ensures real share ownership via regulated brokers, enabling dividends and stock splits.
  • Stock+ lets users transfer existing US stock holdings from supported brokers.

Bitget has launched Stock+, a feature within its Stocks 2.0 ecosystem that allows users to buy real US stocks directly using USDC and other digital assets.

The launch is part of Bitget’s Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy to bring crypto and traditional finance together on a single platform. Users can move between crypto and equities without separate brokerage accounts or banking services.

Trade US Stocks Using Crypto

Access to US stocks has traditionally required brokers, bank transfers, account approvals, and region-specific financial systems.

With Stock+, users can fund their accounts with cryptocurrencies, convert them into USDC, and invest in publicly listed US companies through a crypto-native trading experience.

Bitget said the feature will make global equity markets more accessible. It also allows investors to manage both crypto and stock holdings from one account.

Investors Own the Underlying Shares

Unlike synthetic products or derivatives that only track stock prices, Stock+ provides ownership of the underlying shares through regulated brokers. This means investors can receive benefits tied to share ownership, including cash dividends and stock split adjustments.

The platform also follows US pre-market, regular market, and after-hours trading sessions. As a result, users can trade stocks during the same market windows available to traditional investors.

Bitget Sees Stock+ as a Bridge Between Finance and Crypto

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the company was among the first exchanges to combine crypto, tokenized assets, commodities, and equities under its Universal Exchange strategy.

According to Chen, bringing access, ownership, and flexibility into one platform is an important step toward connecting traditional finance with digital assets.

Stock+ also supports inbound stock transfers from participating brokers through standard transfer procedures. This allows investors to move existing US stock holdings to Bitget and manage them alongside their crypto portfolios.

Bitget said the feature gives users more ways to access and manage traditional financial assets while maintaining a crypto-funded account structure.

Part of Bitget’s Expanded Stocks 2.0 Strategy

The launch follows Bitget’s June 2026 upgrade to its stock investment offerings. The company introduced Reality, a regulated real-world asset protocol, along with tokenized stocks known as rTokens.

Bitget currently offers more than 500 US stocks and exchange-traded funds. These include exposure to companies such as SpaceX, Tesla, and NVIDIA.

According to the company, assets under management for its rToken products have surpassed $50 million.

To celebrate the Stock+ launch, Bitget announced trading fees starting at 0.1%. It is also offering a 50% fee discount until August 31, 2026.
