Bitget has released its August 2026 Transparency Report, disclosing its role in tokenized stocks, traditional financial products, and trading services for institutions.

Tokenized Equity Market at $2 Billion

According to DeFiLlama data cited by Bitget, the value of tokenized stocks grew by more than 140% in 2026, rising from $814 million to almost $2 billion.

Bitget ranked first for tokenized stock liquidity among the exchanges reviewed. It had a median bid-ask spread of 0.83 basis points and the strongest liquidity across five tokenized stock markets.

Bitget also ranked highly for traditional-asset derivatives. It had the best liquidity for 32 of 36 stock perpetuals and most metals and commodity perpetuals measured.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said strong liquidity and smooth trading are key to building investor trust as tokenized assets become more popular.

rTokens See Strong Trading Activity

Meanwhile, CryptoRank research showed strong performance from Bitget’s tokenized stock products, known as rTokens. Bitget’s rTokens had deep order books and low trading costs for $1,000, $10,000, and $50,000 trades involving tokenized Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta, and Tesla stocks.

TokenInsight ranked Bitget second among five major exchanges for equity perpetuals, with 235 contracts. Bitget also had the deepest order books across the wider price ranges studied.

Trading activity was also strong. On August 26, rNVDA recorded $38.5 million in daily trading volume, with more than 4,200 users and 112,800 transactions. About 36% of the trading happened outside U.S. market hours, showing demand for 24/7 access to tokenized stocks.

Bitget Expands Institutional Trading Services

Bitget expanded its services for professional traders in August. The exchange launched new liquidity solutions for trading firms, funds, brokers, and other professional investors. It also introduced Fixed Coupon Notes for tokenized U.S. stocks.

For commodities, Bitget added new leverage and margin features for gold and USD/offshore renminbi trading. These moves highlight Bitget’s plan to become more than a crypto exchange by offering tokenized stocks, commodities, foreign exchange, and other traditional financial products on one platform.

Wallet and Community Ecosystem

Bitget also expanded its services beyond its main crypto exchange last month. Its Wallet launched a new partner program that combines 195 liquidity sources across 11 blockchains. The company also broadened its global Affiliate Program for trading and everyday spending.

KCGI 2026 featured several asset classes and offered a prize pool of up to 3 million USDT. Bitget’s Crypto Experience Month also brought together more than 500 people across four regions, with activities focused on real-world assets, trading practice, and career development.

Bitget Reports 122% Reserve Ratio

Bitget also published its 45th Proof of Reserves report in August. The exchange reported a 122% reserve ratio, meaning it held 22% more in reserves than the total value of its users’ assets.

Bitget said the report highlights its continued focus on liquidity, institutional trading services, and products that combine traditional assets with crypto.
