Bybit Delists Seven Tokens as Binance Cuts 12 Spot Pairs

Binance and Bybit To Delist Multiple Crypto Pairs in May Review
  • Binance will remove 12 spot trading pairs on May 8 after its latest liquidity review.
  • Bybit will delist seven tokens, including DGB, HOOK, SLP, RDNT, GAME, PORTALS, and USDD.
  • Traders must review open orders, bots, deposits, and withdrawals before the cutoff dates.

Binance and Bybit are moving ahead with separate delisting actions in May, affecting several crypto trading pairs and tokens as both exchanges continue routine reviews of market activity, liquidity, and compliance standards.

Per the report, Binance will remove 12 spot trading pairs on May 8, 2026, at 03:00 UTC. The pairs are AVA/BTC, BCH/BNB, CFX/BTC, ENA/BTC, HBAR/FDUSD, LA/BNB, MAGIC/BTC, OP/BTC, PUNDIX/USDC, STEEM/ETH, WIN/TRX, and XPL/FDUSD.

The exchange said the decision followed its periodic assessment of listed spot pairs. Pairs with weak liquidity or low trading volume can be removed, even when the underlying assets remain available elsewhere on the platform.

Binance Says Tokens Are Not Being Fully Delisted

Binance stressed that removing a spot pair does not mean the related tokens are leaving Binance Spot. Users may still trade the base and quote assets through other supported pairs, where available.

The exchange will also shut down Spot Trading Bot services for the affected pairs at the same time. Users with active bots were advised to update or cancel them before the deadline to avoid possible trading issues or losses.

Meanwhile, Bybit announced a broader token-focused delisting. According to an official report, the exchange will remove DGB, HOOK, SLP, RDNT, GAME, PORTALS, and USDD from spot trading. The affected pairs are DGBUSDT, HOOKUSDT, SLPUSDT, RDNTUSDT, GAMEUSDT, PORTALSUSDT, and USDDUSDT.

The report noted that trading for those pairs will end after May 12, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. UTC. Any open orders still active at that time will be cancelled automatically.

Bybit Sets Deposit, Bot, and Withdrawal Deadlines

Bybit said it conducts regular reviews of listed tokens and projects to confirm they still meet platform requirements. The exchange cited performance and compliance standards in its notice.

Deposits for the affected tokens will close after May 11 at 8:00 a.m. UTC. The tokens will also be removed from Bybit Convert after May 12 at 8:00 a.m. UTC.

Users running Spot Grid Bots or DCA Bots on the affected pairs were told to close them before trading ends. Otherwise, Bybit will terminate the bots automatically.

In the meantime, withdrawals will remain open after trading closes, but Bybit urged users to act early. DGB withdrawals will end after August 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. UTC. Remaining DGB may later be converted into stablecoins, though Bybit said conversion is not guaranteed.
