- Cap price prediction stays bullish above $0.0803, with $0.11 the base case for year-end 2026
- CAP gained more than 41% in a day on a short squeeze, according to KuCoin
- Cap’s Q3 report puts total value locked at $337.89 million and targets a V2 launch in Q4
Cap price prediction for 2026 stays bullish above $0.0803, the level CAP needs to hold after a sharp one-day surge, with a base case of $0.11 by year-end and $0.25 by 2030.
Cap Price Prediction 2026: Can CAP Hold Above $0.08 After Its Surge?
CAP could end 2026 between $0.05 and $0.16, with a base case of $0.11 if it holds above the $0.0803 Bollinger Band midline. The bull case needs a close above the October high near $0.12. A close below the 50-day EMA at $0.0695 would put the $0.04 to $0.05 zone back in play.
Cap Price Analysis: Can CAP Hold Its Bollinger Midline?
CAP is holding above its Bollinger Band midline at $0.0803 for now, trading near $0.0967 and down 13.27% today after reaching $0.1167 and falling back under the upper band at $0.1048.
The pullback follows a gain on the previous daily candle, according to KuCoin, so it gives back part of a one-day move rather than ending the trend.
The 20-day EMA at $0.0789, the 50-day at $0.0695 and the 100-day at $0.0564 sit in order beneath price, which keeps the trend positive. RSI at 60.86 is above its average of 53.24 and below its recent peak near 70, so momentum has cooled without turning down.
CAP looks more likely to consolidate between $0.08 and $0.12 into year-end than to retest $0.05, and a daily close below the 50-day EMA at $0.0695 would change that view.

What Is Driving CAP’s Price in 2026?
KuCoin’s October 26 market report attributed the move to a short squeeze, which happens when traders betting on a fall are forced to buy back their positions. CoinMarketCap’s automated analysis put CAP near $0.116 on about $114 million of 24-hour volume, up 369%, and found no new partnership or announcement behind the move. Squeeze rallies depend on forced buying, so they can fade once it stops. OKX has offered CAP/USDT perpetual futures with up to 20x leverage since June 26, so leveraged moves can be sharp in both directions.
The most substantial project update is Cap’s Q3 investor report, published October 20. It targets a V2 launch in Q4 once audits are complete, adds fixed-rate lending alongside floating-rate loans, introduces a first film tax-credit facility and moves idle reserves toward Ondo tokenized Treasuries. Cap reported these figures as of September 30:
| Metric | Cap’s Q3 figure |
| Total value locked | $337.89 million |
| Outstanding loans | $57.36 million |
| cUSD deposits | $66.84 million |
| Average stcUSD net APY | 5.38% |
| Losses to lenders | $0 |
The figures are company-reported and unaudited. Deposits grew only 0.66%, Cap missed its targets for total value locked, deployed credit and underwriting capital, and its largest borrower made up 49.4% of borrowing. CoinGecko lists about 1.56 billion CAP in circulation out of 10 billion, or 15.6%, so the circulating market value covers only part of the eventual supply.
CAP Price Prediction 2026 to 2030: Bear, Base and Bull Scenarios
These are year-end price scenarios for CAP, built from the chart levels above and Cap’s reported lending figures.
| Year | Bear case | Base case | Bull case |
| 2026 | $0.05 | $0.11 | $0.16 |
| 2027 | $0.04 | $0.13 | $0.24 |
| 2028 | $0.05 | $0.16 | $0.34 |
| 2029 | $0.06 | $0.20 | $0.46 |
| 2030 | $0.07 | $0.25 | $0.60 |
They are scenario estimates, not guarantees, and each depends on Cap growing its loan book and on how much of the remaining token supply reaches the market.
Cap Price Prediction 2027: Can V2 Push CAP Toward $0.13?
CAP could end 2027 between $0.04 and $0.24, with a base case of $0.13. The base case assumes V2 launches as planned and outstanding loans grow past the $57.36 million Cap reported for Q3. The bear case reflects borrower concentration, since one borrower made up 49.4% of borrowing, and another round of missed targets. The bull case needs fixed-rate lending and the film tax-credit facility to bring in new types of borrowers.
Cap Price Prediction 2028: Can Institutional Borrowing Lift CAP to $0.16?
CAP could finish 2028 between $0.05 and $0.34, with a base case of $0.16. Institutional borrowers are the main driver, building on Flow Traders borrowing stablecoins through Cap and Lombard and the $100 million Susquehanna Crypto credit facility Cap disclosed in April. That figure is the facility’s capacity, not the amount borrowed. Only 15.6% of the 10 billion supply circulates today, so new supply reaching the market can absorb demand and holds the base case back. The bull case assumes borrowing grows faster than that supply.
Cap Price Prediction 2029: Can Tokenized Assets Widen CAP’s Reach?
CAP could trade between $0.06 and $0.46 at the end of 2029, with a base case of $0.20. Tokenized assets are the main variable, starting with Franklin Templeton’s BENJI fund, which Cap can now support as a deposit asset after passing the company’s compliance review, and the planned move to Ondo tokenized Treasuries for idle reserves. The base case needs those assets to bring in deposits without adding to borrower concentration. The bull case adds credit facilities in industries beyond crypto trading and film, which Cap says are in its pipeline.
Cap Price Prediction 2030: Can CAP Reach $0.25?
CAP could finish 2030 between $0.07 and $0.60, with a base case of $0.25, about 2.6 times today’s price. At $0.25, the fully diluted value, which prices all 10 billion tokens at the current price, would be about $2.5 billion against roughly $967 million today. That requires Cap’s lending to grow well beyond the $57.36 million in outstanding loans it reported for Q3. The $0.07 bear case assumes Cap stays a niche credit market and supply growth outpaces demand.
