Cardano price prediction for September 10 stays range-bound above $0.2132, with this week’s CPI and PPI reports likely to decide which way ADA finally breaks.

Cardano Price Analysis: Can ADA Break Its Narrow Range?

ADA trades near $0.2195, trading flat, sitting just above the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $0.2132 that’s held as support through a choppy week. Price stays above the 20-day EMA at $0.2096, the 100-day at $0.2003, and the 50-day at $0.1985, while the 200-day EMA at $0.2423 remains well overhead, the level that would mark a real trend reversal rather than just a bounce. The Parabolic SAR at $0.1904 stays comfortably below price, keeping the short-term signal bullish.

Cardano has spent the past several sessions boxed in between the 20-day and 200-day EMA, unable to close decisively above $0.2310 or break down through $0.2132. That kind of compression, with the SAR trending higher and support holding at the same Fibonacci level for multiple days, usually resolves with a larger move once price finally clears one side of the range.

ADA News: Analyst Flags an 8-Year RSI Low as a Historical Setup

An analyst cited by Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered said Cardano’s weekly RSI has fallen to one of its lowest readings in roughly eight years, and combined with ADA returning to a major historical support zone, the setup resembles conditions that preceded major moves in the past, including the run into 2021.

Sentiment around the token is weak right now by the same account’s description, which is often the backdrop these setups form against rather than a contradiction of it.

ADA News: Host Walks Back a DEX Volume Claim, Points to DeFi TVL Instead

Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered issued a correction on an earlier claim that Cardano’s DEX volume had tripled ahead of a $2.90 price forecast. The host said the accurate figure was DeFi total value locked, not DEX volume, and cited $65.33 million in Cardano DeFi TVL, close to the network’s $66.84 million stablecoin market cap, up from $64.53 million.

The actual DEX volume numbers cited across sources during the correction were inconsistent. Some put it at $3.4 billion on August 16 rising to a peak of $12.95 billion on August 21, since pulled back to $8.53 billion, a real multiple but not exactly triple. A separate figure, $2.01 million growing to $7.28 million within 48 hours, appears to reference a narrower or different dataset entirely and shouldn’t be read as describing the same trend.

ADA News: Leios and Hydra Upgrades Targeted for Late 2026

IOG reported progress on Hydra and Leios node testing and tracing, part of a broader scaling push.

According to Intersect, Phase 1 of the rollout, nested transactions and linear Leios, is targeted for Cardano’s mainnet by the end of 2026, with Phase 2 activating in a subsequent hard fork in Q2 2027.

Bitcoin’s First Golden Cross of the Cycle Adds a Macro Wrinkle

Bitcoin just completed its first golden cross of this bear-market cycle, the 50-day moving average crossing above the 200-day, according to LuckSide Crypto. Two things worth knowing about what that’s historically meant:

  • The signal: has preceded higher prices within about 45 days in past cycles, which would land around October 23
  • The catch: the pattern often includes an initial dip first, potentially testing the $75,000 or even $71,000 range before BTC works toward new highs

LuckSide also pushed back on a widely shared claim that altcoin open interest sits at its highest level since December 2024. The actual numbers don’t support it:

  • Total crypto open interest now: roughly $140 billion
  • December 2024 peak: roughly $220 billion

He added that today’s positioning looks less leverage-driven overall, with fewer over-extended longs than the setup that preceded the last major liquidation cascade. Separately, CryptoQuant data cited by Cointelegraph showed Bitcoin short-term whale profit hitting a record $9.07 billion, a number LuckSide said isn’t clearly bearish on its own, record whale accumulation is happening at the same time.

Cardano Derivatives: Longs Take the Recent Hit, Shorts Absorbed More Over the Full Day

ADA derivatives volume jumped 28.60% to $760.69 million over 24 hours. Open interest barely moved, up just 0.35% to $469.12 million, meaning most of that volume is trading in and out, not new money entering. Options volume dropped 92.94% to $6,590.

Liquidations flipped by timeframe. Over the full 24 hours, shorts took the bigger hit, $857,070 against $646,770 for longs. But in the last 12 hours, longs lost $485,260 against just $9,290 for shorts, traders who bought ADA’s bounce are now the ones losing money as price cooled. Positioning stays long-heavy anyway, Binance’s account ratio sits at 2.02, and its top traders are even more long at 2.42.

Cardano Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for September 10

Bullish Case, Target: $0.2423

ADA holds $0.2132 and a cool CPI print this week eases macro pressure. A close above $0.2310 opens room toward the 200-day EMA at $0.2423, the level that would mark a genuine trend shift rather than a range-bound bounce.

Bearish Case, Risk Level: $0.2096 (20-Day EMA)

ADA loses $0.2132 as a hot inflation report weighs on risk assets broadly. A break below the 20-day EMA at $0.2096 would expose the 0.382 Fib support at $0.1955 next.

FAQs

What is the Cardano price prediction for September 10, 2026?

ADA could extend toward $0.2310 and then $0.2423 if it holds above $0.2132 following this week’s inflation data. Losing $0.2132 risks a pullback toward the 20-day EMA at $0.2096.

Did Cardano’s DEX volume actually triple?

Not by the clearest measure. Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered corrected an earlier claim, clarifying that Cardano’s DeFi TVL, not DEX volume, is the figure showing steady growth, currently at $65.33 million.

Why does Bitcoin’s golden cross matter for ADA?

Altcoins including ADA tend to take cues from Bitcoin’s broader trend and dominance. Analysts said Bitcoin’s first golden cross of this cycle has historically preceded higher prices within about 45 days, though often after an initial pullback.

What’s the next major Cardano development milestone?

Phase 1 of Cardano’s Leios and Hydra scaling upgrades, including nested transactions, is targeted for mainnet by the end of 2026, according to Intersect, with Phase 2 following in a hard fork in Q2 2027.
