- Cardano price prediction stays bullish above $0.2564, targeting $0.2886 after a triangle breakout

- Cardano’s stablecoin market cap is nearing $70 million, up 24.7% in a week, LuckSide Crypto says
Cardano price prediction for October 6 stays bullish above $0.2564, the level that decides whether ADA’s triangle breakout sticks.
Cardano Price Analysis: Can ADA Hold Its Breakout Above $0.2564?
ADA is trading near $0.2663 after a 2.53% gain and a spike to $0.2720, and it can hold the breakout as long as it stays above $0.2564. That level is the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement of the May-to-June drop and the ceiling that held ADA back in late September, so buyers now have to defend it.
The 20-day EMA at $0.2422 and the 200-day at $0.2404 sit just below, with the Parabolic SAR at $0.2376 underneath both. Today’s candle is still open, so a daily close above $0.2564 would confirm the move and put the $0.2886 May high in view, with $0.30 beyond it.
Cardano Price Analysis: The 2-Hour Chart Shows a Triangle Breakout
On the 2-hour chart, ADA has moved above the upper line of a triangle that had contained price since late September, and the breakout candle ran to $0.2720 before price eased back to $0.2663. The broken line sits near $0.2565, the same area as the daily Fibonacci level, which gives that zone two reasons to act as support on a pullback.
MACD sits well above its signal line, 0.00452 against 0.00193, and the DMI shows buyers far ahead of sellers at 38.53 against 5.97, with trend strength at 29.03. A 2-hour close back below $0.2565 would put the breakout in doubt.

ADA News: LuckSide Crypto Flags a Stablecoin Surge and a Bull Pennant
LuckSide Crypto said Cardano’s stablecoin market cap is approaching $70 million, up 24.7% in seven days, though he did not name the data source. He added that ADA’s share of the total crypto market has kept making higher lows and higher highs, and that ADA has historically outpaced Bitcoin and the wider market once sentiment turns bullish. In the same Sunday video he called ADA’s tightening range a bull pennant and said a break was due within days, which price has since delivered to the upside.
For the wider market, he said Bitcoin’s RSI and stochastic RSI are flipping bullish, with MACD close behind, and that a test of the 100-day average near $89,750, and possibly $92,000, could come next, with the upcoming PPI and CPI reports as possible triggers. These are his own reads rather than confirmed signals.
ADA News: Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered Says the Golden Cross Needs Follow-Through
Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered said ADA has printed its first daily golden cross since August 2025, with the 50-day simple moving average crossing above the 200-day. The exponential averages on the chart above do not show it, since the 50-day at $0.2242 still sits under the 200-day at $0.2404, so the signal depends on which averages are used. He noted that the August 2025 cross was followed by a run toward $0.92 and a death cross by November, and called it a lagging signal that cannot promise more upside.
The host also tied earlier 4% ADA drop to a reported Japan partnership with Pacifica Meta, calling it a sell-the-news reaction because enterprise deals take quarters to reach price, and he marked $0.28 to $0.30 as the heavy resistance to watch. He runs a Cardano stake pool, so he is an interested party.
Cardano Derivatives: Shorts Absorb Most of the Day’s Liquidations
Traders placed far more ADA futures bets over the past 24 hours, with volume jumping 330.14% to $1.05 billion. Open interest, the total value of bets still open, rose 17.49% to $623.42 million, so fresh money is coming in rather than traders cashing out.
The rally hurt those betting on a drop the most. Short sellers lost $2.09 million of the $2.34 million in forced closures over the day, called liquidations, as the rising price pushed their bets underwater. That flipped in the past hour when ADA eased back from $0.2720, and traders betting on a rise lost $138.46K of the $169.38K liquidated. Most traders are still positioned for higher prices, with Binance showing 2.18 long accounts for every short and OKX 1.59.
| Metric | Value | What it shows |
| Derivatives volume (24h) | $1.05B, up 330.14% | Trading activity surging |
| Open interest | $623.42M, up 17.49% | New positions entering the market |
| 24h short liquidations | $2.09M of $2.34M total | Shorts took most of the losses |
| 1h long liquidations | $138.46K of $169.38K total | Longs are getting hit on the pullback |
| Binance long/short ratio | 2.18 | Traders leaning long |
Cardano Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for October 6
Bullish Case, Target: $0.2886
ADA holds $0.2564 and pushes back through today’s $0.2720 high, which opens the $0.2886 May high. Further short liquidations and rising open interest would support the move, with $0.30 next if the May high gives way.
Bearish Case, Risk Level: $0.2422 (20-Day EMA)
ADA slips back below $0.2564 and into the triangle, then loses the 20-day EMA at $0.2422, with the 200-day at $0.2404 and the Parabolic SAR at $0.2376 just beneath. That would turn the breakout into a false start and expose the 0.618 Fibonacci level at $0.2312.
Cardano Price Prediction FAQs
ADA could extend toward $0.2886 and then $0.30 if it holds above $0.2564. Losing that level risks a slide toward the 20-day EMA at $0.2422.
$0.30 would need a gain of about 12.7% from $0.2663 and a clean break of the $0.2886 May high. $1 would need about 276%, and nothing on the chart supports it, since the highest level in view is the May high.
ADA broke above a triangle on the 2-hour chart, and shorts took $2.09 million of the $2.34 million liquidated over 24 hours, so forced buying added fuel. LuckSide Crypto points to a 24.7% weekly rise in Cardano’s stablecoin market cap, though neither he nor Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered names a single headline as the trigger.
Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered says ADA printed its first daily golden cross since August 2025 using simple moving averages. The exponential averages on the TradingView chart still show the 50-day at $0.2242 below the 200-day at $0.2404, so the signal depends on which averages are used.
