DeFi Development Corp. added 101,381 SOL to its treasury, bringing its holdings to about 2.49 million SOL and equivalents as the Nasdaq-listed company continued to expand its Solana reserves.
The company announced the increase on Sept. 21, saying its treasury grew 4.24% from Sept. 14 through new purchases and organic growth. The latest addition increased its holdings by more than 101,000 SOL in one week.
DFDV also uses its Solana holdings for staking, validator operations and investments in applications built on the blockchain.
DFDV Raises $1.65 Million Through CHAD
DFDV raised about $1.65 million after completing the underwriter’s over-allotment for CHAD. The transaction added 206,250 shares of its Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock.

The company also has a $300 million at-the-market facility for CHAD, allowing it to issue additional shares at prices at or above the stated $10 value. DFDV plans to use most of the proceeds to purchase more SOL.
DFDV Builds Its Solana Treasury
DFDV reported 2,388,923 SOL and equivalents on Sept. 14. The latest figure represents an increase of 101,381 SOL and equivalents over the week.
SOL was trading at $117.35 as of writing, up 6.8% over the previous 24 hours. Trading volume reached about $6.45 billion during the same period.
