Hyperscale Data has shifted part of its Bitcoin treasury strategy by selling 100 Bitcoin to accelerate construction of its Michigan AI data center campus. The company also secured a Bitcoin-backed credit facility to strengthen funding without relying heavily on new share issuances.

Executives believe the move balances continued Bitcoin exposure with long-term infrastructure growth. The strategy aims to transform digital assets into revenue-generating facilities while preserving financial flexibility for future expansion.

Bitcoin Supports Long-Term Infrastructure Plans

The company plans to use proceeds from the Bitcoin sale to purchase critical equipment and continue developing the Michigan campus. Additionally, it expects the facility to support a long-term agreement with a major AI infrastructure customer.

The contract initially covers 20 megawatts of computing capacity and could generate more than $1.2 billion over its term. Furthermore, customer expansion options could increase capacity to 52 megawatts and lift potential revenue above $3 billion.

Flexible Financing Reduces Dilution

Hyperscale Data also introduced a Bitcoin-backed lending facility with expected variable interest rates between 4.5% and 5.0%. Consequently, the company can access lower-cost capital while retaining a significant portion of its Bitcoin reserves.

Moreover, management believes this approach reduces shareholder dilution and supports future growth. Executives emphasized that the decision reflects disciplined capital allocation rather than reduced confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term value.
