Quantum Solutions has reduced its Ethereum holdings again after selling another 1,000 ETH to strengthen funding for its artificial intelligence expansion. The Japan-listed company raised about $1.9 million from the latest transaction while continuing to redirect capital toward data centers and GPU infrastructure.
Consequently, the move marks another step away from its previous crypto accumulation strategy. It also pushes the company below Def Consulting in corporate Ethereum holdings, ending its position as Japan’s largest publicly traded ETH treasury.
AI Investment Takes Priority Over Crypto Holdings
GPT Pals Studio completed the latest sale at an average price of $1,903 per ETH. However, Quantum expects to record a loss of roughly $100,000 from the transaction.
Additionally, the company has now sold 1,904 ETH since mid-June, representing nearly 29% of its previous holdings. Most of those tokens came from purchases during late 2025, when Ethereum traded above $4,000.
More Ether Sales Could Follow
Quantum now holds about 4,765 ETH, valued near $9.2 million at current prices. Moreover, the company increased its authorized sales limit to 4,375 ETH through October 30. However, 3,050 ETH remains pledged as loan collateral in Singapore.
Another 1,714.8 ETH sits in GPT Pals’ trading account. Hence, future sales may require adjustments unless the company releases or restructures part of those holdings.
