USD.AI has brought its USDai and sUSDai tokens to Solana through LayerZero, expanding access as their combined cross-chain transfer volume passes $2 billion.
The September 2026 expansion connects Solana with networks already supporting the tokens through LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard. USDai and sUSDai had recorded about $2.05 billion in combined cross-chain transfer volume by September.
Solana Extends USD.AI’s Reach
USD.AI initially launched USDai and sUSDai on Arbitrum, with LayerZero enabling transfers across supported blockchains. The company has since expanded the tokens to Ethereum, Plasma and Base, adding Solana to the network.

Users can now transfer sUSDai between Solana and other supported chains through LayerZero’s OFT system. The setup connects token markets across networks rather than leaving separate versions of the assets isolated on each chain.
Cross-Chain Activity Tops $2 Billion
USD.AI’s broader model uses credit backed by graphics processing units to finance physical computing infrastructure. The company links blockchain-based capital with demand for computing resources used in artificial intelligence.
With Solana now included, USDai and sUSDai have access to another blockchain network. Meanwhile, the $2.05 billion in combined cross-chain transfers recorded by September highlights the activity already taking place across their supported networks.
