- DASH rose 7.51% daily, breaking its descending trendline and reclaiming key EMAs.
- Open interest fell to $81.21 million, signaling reduced leverage and cautious trader positioning.
- Positive exchange netflows reached $1.24 million, while $55.88 remains key resistance.
Dash (DASH) has extended its recovery, gaining 7.51% over the past 24 hours and 9.78% during the last seven days. The cryptocurrency trades around $54.29, with daily trading volume reaching $106.43 million. Its market capitalization stands near $700.3 million, supported by a circulating supply of approximately 13 million DASH.
DASH Breaks Trendline as Bulls Approach Key Resistance
DASH has recovered from support near $46.53 after retreating from its previous high around $71.75. The latest rebound pushed the token above its descending trendline and the $53.54 Fibonacci retracement level.
Additionally, DASH now trades above its four major exponential moving averages (EMAs). The 20-day EMA stands at $52.58, while the 50-day EMA sits at $52.45. Meanwhile, the 100-day and 200-day EMAs provide deeper support at $48.67 and $44.54, respectively.
These indicators suggest buyers have regained short-term control. However, the Directional Movement Index shows only a modest bullish advantage, with +DI at 21.06 against -DI at 20.05. The ADX reading of 21.66 also signals limited trend strength.
Consequently, a daily close above $55.88 could open the way toward $58.37 and $62.28. Further gains could bring the $66.19-71.75 range into focus. Conversely, a decline below $52.45 could expose $48.67 and $46.53.
Open Interest Decline Signals Cautious Positioning
DASH open interest has fluctuated considerably throughout the year, reflecting changing trader participation. During an earlier rally, open interest approached $195 million before aggressive position closures reduced leveraged exposure.

More recently, open interest climbed above $140 million before falling again. By October 23, it had dropped to approximately $81.21 million, while DASH traded near $53.07.
Positive Exchange Flows Support the Recovery
Exchange flows provide another signal as DASH attempts to extend its gains. January recorded inflows exceeding $16 million, followed by outflows approaching $10 million.

Additionally, capital movements remained relatively subdued through February and August before volatility increased in September. The latest figures show renewed buying activity, with DASH recording a positive netflow of $1.24 million on October 23.
Technical Outlook for Dash (DASH)
Key levels remain well-defined as Dash attempts to extend its recovery.
Upside levels: $55.88 represents immediate resistance, followed by $58.37 and $62.28. A sustained breakout could open the way toward $66.19 and $71.75.
Downside levels: $53.54 serves as immediate support, followed by the 52.45–52.58 EMA support zone. Further weakness could expose $48.67 and $46.53.
Resistance ceiling: The $55.88 level is the first hurdle bulls must overcome to strengthen short-term momentum. DASH trades above its major moving averages after breaking its descending trendline, although the DMI indicates that bullish momentum remains moderate.
Will Dash Go Up?
Dash’s price prediction hinges on whether buyers can defend $53.54 and push above $55.88. Improving exchange flows, including a recent positive netflow of $1.24 million, support the recovery. However, open interest has declined to approximately $81.21 million after previously exceeding $140 million, suggesting weaker speculative participation.
If buying pressure strengthens, DASH could target $58.37 and $62.28, with $66.19 and $71.75 becoming possible higher targets. Conversely, a break below $52.45 could expose $48.67 and $46.53. For now, DASH remains at a pivotal technical zone, where sustained buying and renewed trader participation could determine its next major move.
