The XRP army’s disputes and backlashes against Charles Hoskinson are set to take a back seat as he states that he is done defending himself in the XRP vs Cardano drama. In one of the latest Twitter replies, he states that he has nothing more to say on this topic.
Hoskinson stated that all intellectual honesty has been lost in the social media mob. He also added that he stands by his statements and believes that it is pointless to have any more discussions regarding them.
Hoskinson also highlighted the point that his statements have been misrepresented and shared among thousands. His statements are also trending on Twitter as the “Grand Conspiracy.” At this point, Hoskinson tweets that he is done and it is time for everyone to move on.
The dispute began when Hoskinson shared his opinion in an interview on the whole Ripple vs. SEC war. He talked about how the corruption allegations of the SEC by the XRP community were just a conspiracy theory.
After the interview was rolled out, the XRP army started to go against Hoskinson, and many went on a hunt to start digging dirt on him. Even though the co-founders of XRP supported Hoskinson, the rage among the XRP army was visible on Twitter.
At this point, there is still division within the community. On the one hand, members assert that everyone has the right to voice their thoughts and that their only allegiance is to Hoskinson.
On the other hand, allegations have also been made that the Cardano CEO didn’t actually back Ripple in its legal action against the organization. The situation is likely to wear off as Hoskinson stated that he is done with the whole drama.
