Monero price prediction for this week stays bullish above $517, the level XMR needs to hold inside its narrowing triangle pattern.

Monero Price Analysis: Can XMR Break Out of Its Narrowing Triangle?

XMR trades near $556, up 1.35% today, pressing against the lower trendline of a narrowing triangle that has contained price since the August low near $340. The triangle’s upper line runs down from the September high near $625, and the two lines are converging toward a resolution point in the next few weeks.

Price sits above the 20-day EMA at $541.70 and the 50-day at $517.22, both of which have supported recent pullbacks. The 100-day at $473.48 and 200-day at $430.18 sit further below, both still rising. RSI at 55.88 is above its moving average at 52.34, both in neutral territory, after cooling from an overbought reading above 80 in early September. A close back above today’s intraday high near $557 would test the triangle’s upper boundary next.

KuCoin suspended Monero deposits and withdrawals on October 10 for wallet maintenance, according to the exchange’s own announcement.

The notice doesn’t describe a delisting or a pause on spot trading, and no reopening notice had been found as of this writing, so the current status should be checked directly before assuming transfers remain unavailable.

XMR News: Trader Peter Brandt Calls Monero His Favorite Chart

Trader Peter Brandt, writing as The Factor Report last week, compared several large-cap charts and said Monero stood out because its supply overhang has been absorbed, unlike XRP, which he said still carries heavy resistance from past buyers.

He called XMR his favorite among the charts he reviewed, adding he doesn’t know or need to know Monero’s fundamental narrative, since his analysis is based on price action alone.

Monero Price Prediction: Can XMR Reach $625 or Fall to $473?

Bullish Case, Target: $625

XMR holds the 20-day EMA at $541.70 and closes a day above $557, the triangle’s current resistance test. That would open the path toward the triangle’s upper boundary near $600 to $625, with relative strength against the broader market adding to the case.

Bearish Case, Risk Level: $473 (100-Day EMA)

XMR loses the 50-day EMA at $517.22, breaking the triangle’s lower support. A close below that level would put the 100-day EMA at $473.48 in play, and continued broad market weakness would add pressure to that scenario.
