  • Bitway (BTW) surged 109% weekly as bulls target $2.80 after breaking key resistance.
  • BTW open interest reached $302.49 million, signaling increased derivatives market participation.
  • Exchange outflows hit $5.98 million, suggesting accumulation and potentially reduced selling liquidity.

Bitway (BTW) has extended its impressive rally, gaining 48.29% in 24 hours and 109.02% over seven days. The token trades near $2.66, with daily trading volume reaching approximately $161.98 million. Its market capitalization now stands at roughly $7.21 billion, reflecting growing market interest.

BTW Bulls Target $2.80 After Breaking Resistance

Bitway’s four-hour chart shows a strong upward trend following its breakout above the $2.30 resistance zone. The rally began near $0.87 on October 4 and subsequently pushed prices toward $2.67. BTW continues to trade above its major exponential moving averages, supporting the current bullish structure.

The 20-period exponential moving average sits near $1.91, while the 50-period average stands around $1.66. These indicators provide potential support if buyers struggle to sustain the recent advance.

Significantly, the Bollinger Bands %B indicator has climbed to 1.18, placing BTW above its upper band. This reading reflects intense buying pressure but also suggests an overheated short-term market. Consequently, traders may encounter profit-taking or sideways consolidation before another decisive move.

The immediate challenge remains the $2.67 resistance level, which coincides with the latest high. A sustained four-hour close above this barrier could open the way toward $2.70.

Moreover, continued buying pressure could extend the rally toward $2.80. However, failure to clear resistance could encourage short-term traders to secure profits after the substantial weekly advance.

Open Interest Signals Growing Derivatives Participation

Bitway’s derivatives market has expanded considerably since July, when open interest remained below $50 million. Activity accelerated in August, pushing open interest above $200 million before a temporary correction interrupted the growth.

September brought renewed expansion as BTW prices advanced and traders increased their market exposure. By October 14, open interest reached approximately $302.49 million.

Rising prices alongside increasing open interest often indicate fresh participation in an existing trend. Hence, the latest expansion supports the view that traders continue engaging with BTW’s rally.

Nevertheless, growing open interest can amplify volatility when market sentiment changes. A sudden price reversal could trigger liquidations, particularly if leveraged traders crowd into similar positions.

Exchange Outflows Offer a Mixed Market Signal

BTW’s spot exchange flows provide another important perspective on the rally. Outflows have generally dominated recent activity, although occasional inflow spikes indicate intermittent buying or transfers toward exchanges.

March recorded the sharpest withdrawal period, with net outflows exceeding $60 million. Since June, exchange flows have remained comparatively subdued, despite brief positive readings during September.

On October 14, net outflows reached approximately $5.98 million. These withdrawals may indicate accumulation as holders move tokens away from exchanges. Additionally, reduced exchange balances could limit immediately available selling liquidity.

Technical Outlook For Bitway (BTW) Price

Key levels remain in focus following BTW’s sharp rally:

Upside levels: $2.67, $2.70, and $2.80 represent immediate resistance levels. A decisive breakout above $2.80 could extend the rally further.

Downside levels: $2.38-2.30 marks the primary breakout retest zone, followed by $2.03 and $1.91-1.81.

Resistance ceiling: $2.67 is the immediate hurdle buyers must overcome to sustain bullish momentum. The technical picture shows BTW trading above its major EMAs, while a Bollinger Bands %B reading of 1.18 signals an extended move that could trigger short-term consolidation.

Will Bitway (BTW) Go Up?

Bitway’s price prediction hinges on whether buyers can break above $2.67 and defend the $2.38-2.30 support zone. Rising open interest, which reached approximately $302.49 million, indicates growing derivatives participation. Meanwhile, persistent exchange outflows could reflect accumulation and reduce immediately available supply.

If bullish momentum strengthens, BTW could challenge $2.70 and extend toward $2.80. However, failure to maintain the breakout zone risks a deeper pullback toward $2.03 and the 20 EMA near $1.91.

For now, BTW remains in a pivotal position. Sustained buying pressure and confirmation above resistance will determine whether the rally continues or gives way to profit-taking.
