The daily chart shows PI sitting directly on an ascending trendline drawn from the December 2025 lows near $0.0001, a line that has held through every major selloff since. The Supertrend (10,3) at $0.00040608 sits below price, confirming the short-term uptrend structure remains intact despite today’s pullback.

Every EMA stacks just above spot: the 20-day at $0.00047459, the 50-day at $0.00049024, the 100-day at $0.00051914 and the 200-day at $0.00053403. Price is sandwiched between the trendline support below and the cluster of EMAs above, making the next few candles important for determining whether this is a healthy pullback or the start of a deeper retest.

  • Support at the ascending trendline near $0.00046-$0.00047 and the Supertrend at $0.00040608

What Did Pi App Studio Just Launch?

Pi App Studio added two updates on July 7. The first is backend persistent storage for newly created apps, meaning apps can now save user data across sessions rather than resetting every time a user leaves. A game can remember a high score, a to-do list app can retain tasks, a note-taking app can save content automatically. Before this update, all App Studio apps were limited to single-session frontend experiences with no memory between visits.

The second update is an AI-assisted app planning phase that helps creators develop and refine their app concept before generation begins. The planning phase asks clarifying questions about the app’s goal, category and user experience to build a more complete prompt, which improves the quality of the final app the AI generates. Pi App Studio is one of three products launched on Pi2Day alongside SoloHost and PiVerify, all aimed at bringing outside businesses and developers into the Pi ecosystem for the first time.

What Does PI’s Wallet Distribution Reveal About Its Holder Base?

Data from PiScan shows fewer than 10,000 accounts hold at least 1 million PI, with 9,961 accounts holding between 1M and 10M tokens and just 21 whale accounts holding above 10M. On the other end, over 14.5 million users, roughly 80% of all Pioneers, hold less than 10 PI each.

The distribution is extremely wide at the bottom and thin at the top, meaning a large retail base holds dust-level amounts while a very small group holds meaningful positions. That kind of structure can amplify price moves in both directions, as thin whale layers have outsized influence on market depth.

PI Price Prediction: Upside and Downside Targets

  • Upside case: The ascending trendline holds, PI clears the EMA cluster between $0.00047 and $0.00053, and backend storage drives meaningful new app creation activity that brings external demand into the ecosystem.
  • Downside case: The trendline breaks on continued selling, PI slips below the Supertrend at $0.00040608, and the June low near $0.00027 comes back into focus.
