  • PUMP targets $0.00529 resistance as bullish momentum strengthens above key EMAs.
  • Rising open interest above $438M increases volatility and liquidation risks for PUMP.
  • September spot flows remain mixed, but latest $1.18M inflow supports the rally.

Pump.fun (PUMP) has extended its recent rally, with buyers pushing the token toward a major resistance zone. PUMP currently trades near $0.005208 after gaining 17.62% over 24 hours. The token has also climbed 14.82% during the past seven days.

Trading activity remains substantial, with daily volume reaching roughly $425.2 million. Meanwhile, its circulating supply stands near 470 billion PUMP, giving the token a market capitalization of approximately $2.43 billion.

PUMP Builds Stronger Bullish Momentum

The daily chart shows a significant improvement in PUMP’s technical structure. Price recently moved above the $0.004727 Fibonacci 0.786 level. This breakout shifted attention toward the $0.00529 area, which marks the Fibonacci 1.0 level.

Additionally, PUMP trades comfortably above its major moving averages. The 20-day EMA sits at $0.004280, while the 50-day EMA stands at $0.003843. The 100-day and 200-day EMAs remain lower at $0.003253 and $0.002851.

Moreover, momentum indicators continue to favor buyers. The DMI shows +DI at 33.14, significantly above -DI at 13.44. ADX stands at 32.28, pointing to a strengthening directional trend.

However, the $0.00529 resistance could determine whether the rally continues. A sustained daily close above this level could expose the $0.00550-$0.00580 region.

Rising Open Interest Raises Volatility Risk

PUMP’s derivatives market has also expanded rapidly during the recent recovery. Open interest rose from approximately $100 million in late July to more than $400 million by late August.

The latest reading places open interest near $438.76 million. Consequently, traders have increased their leveraged exposure as PUMP’s price climbed.

This development can support stronger moves when buying pressure persists. However, elevated leverage can also amplify declines during sudden position liquidations.

Hence, traders may closely monitor open interest alongside price action. A sharp decline in OI could signal position unwinding if PUMP encounters heavy selling.

Spot Flows Show Mixed Signals

Spot market flows have offered a less consistent picture. Outflows dominated several periods, with notable selling spikes appearing during earlier months.

Besides, larger inflows emerged during late July and August as PUMP recovered. September has produced more mixed activity, with inflows and outflows alternating frequently.

Significantly, the latest data shows a net inflow of approximately $1.18 million on September 28. Continued positive flows could provide additional support for the current breakout.

Technical Outlook For Pump.fun Price

Key levels remain well-defined heading into October:

Upside levels: $0.00529 is the immediate resistance. A breakout could extend toward $0.00550 and $0.00580.

Downside levels: $0.00473 is the first support, followed by $0.00428 and $0.00384. A deeper correction could expose the $0.00365–$0.00325 zone.

Resistance ceiling: $0.00529 is the key level PUMP needs to reclaim decisively. A sustained close above this level could reinforce the bullish structure and attract additional buying pressure.

Will Pump.fun Go Up?

Pump.fun price prediction for October hinges on whether buyers can sustain momentum above the $0.00473 breakout zone. The recent move above the 0.786 Fibonacci level at $0.004727 has strengthened the bullish setup, while rising open interest shows increased market participation.

If buyers push PUMP above $0.00529 with stronger spot inflows, the token could target $0.00550 and potentially $0.00580. However, rejection at resistance could trigger profit-taking toward $0.00473 and $0.00428.

The elevated open interest also creates a higher-volatility environment. Consequently, a sharp price move could accelerate if leveraged positions begin unwinding.

For now, PUMP remains in a pivotal zone. Sustained buying pressure, positive spot flows, and a decisive breakout above $0.00529 could determine the next major move.
