- Shytoshi Kusama, Shibarium lead developer, in a recent update, says the protocol is “almost ready” to relaunch.
- The developer says the team has added fail-sales and monitoring systems to improve the Shibarium.
- The Shiba Inu team asked its community members to dismiss FUDs that trailed the first failed launch.
Days after an eagerly anticipated network debut hampered by network problems and a faulty bridge, Shiba Inu developers are gradually preparing for a Shibarium network reopening by keeping an eye on validator data and transactions. Per a Tuesday blog post, the Shibarium lead developer Shytoshi Kusama says the Shibarium is now enhanced and optimized.
In addition, the team said they have introduced fail-sales and monitoring systems to ensure the platform can handle a huge level of traffic. The Shiba Inu team had blamed the failed launch on the unexpected heavy traffic recorded on the protocol.
In the blog post, the team stated that it is preparing to open the protocol back to the public. The team also took the chance to jab at its critics while reassuring its community members. In response to the widespread FUD that trailed its botched launch, the project asked its members to dismiss all FUD fears.
“One piece of fud is that Shibarium was never going to come…Another was that I am not focused on decentralization. This fud is now also laughable as I’ve presented what is, arguably, the most comprehensive decentralization document the world has ever seen,” the developer said in the post.
However, a failed launch is not uncommon in crypto, especially with Layer 2 networks built on the Ethereum network. Through the relaunch, the project has a second chance at improving the network and experience for its members.
Once fully operational, many users expect the Shibarium to transition the memecoin to a crypto project with varying use cases. Shibarium will also allow users to build projects and applications on the network. That includes protocols, products, and services, as mentioned in the blog post.
In addition, the team also encouraged their community members to stake their BONE tokens for a share of rewards. Likewise, it mentioned that it will start implementing its ShibPaper to achieve decentralized governance and management.
