  • Tokenized equity trading hit $3B weekly as major chains led activity in August 2026.
  • Onchain TVL rose above $110 million, up sharply from under $10 million in 2025.
  • Only about 5% of tokenized equities are currently deployed in onchain finance.

Tokenized equity trading accelerated in 2026, with weekly spot volume reaching about $3 billion in August as Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain and Solana emerged as the leading networks by volume.

At the same time, onchain total value locked across major tokenized-stock protocols climbed above $110 million, up from below $10 million for much of 2025, according to data cited by Allium and Grayscale Investments. Yet only about 5% of the tokenized equity market is currently deployed in onchain finance.

Tokenized Equities Spread Across Multiple Chains

Activity expanded across several protocols rather than concentrating in one venue. Kamino became an early source of growth on Solana, where lending activity rose strongly between February and May. Jupiter later added another sizable lending segment on the network, reaching roughly $19 million by August.

Raydium also retained a major share through trading activity. Meanwhile, PancakeSwap recorded high growth on BNB Chain, while Uniswap contributed through Robinhood Chain and Ethereum. The “All Other” category also expanded, reflecting activity across additional networks and protocols.

Trading Growth Outpaces Financial Utility

Trading accounts for most tokenized equity activity, while only a limited share is used in lending, collateral, and other financial applications. That segment, however, is beginning to expand, as tokenized equities deposited in lending protocols such as Kamino and Jupiter have grown roughly tenfold over the past year, albeit from a low base.

Further growth in these financial use cases may depend on regulatory clarity in the United States. Officials have discussed an innovation exemption with safeguards, including verified participants and compliance-enabled token standards. Regulators have also noted that tokenization could make securities easier to use as collateral.
