  • Bitcoin risks falling toward $80,000 if sellers break the critical $82,560 support.
  • Ethereum faces further downside toward $2,450 as bearish momentum strengthens.
  • XRP could slide toward $1.35 if buyers fail to defend the crucial $1.3880 support.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP face mounting selling pressure as bearish momentum continues across the cryptocurrency market. All three assets have slipped below important technical levels, raising concerns about further short-term declines. Besides, weakening buying activity suggests traders remain cautious about entering new positions.

Bitcoin struggles to defend support near $82,500, while Ethereum approaches a critical demand zone. Meanwhile, XRP faces renewed downside risks after losing several important price levels.

Bitcoin Price Prediction: BTC Struggles to Defend Critical Support

Bitcoin continues to show weakness after sellers rejected its recovery attempt near $86,000. The cryptocurrency currently trades around $82,625, with bearish momentum dominating the four-hour chart.

Significantly, BTC has slipped below its 20, 50, and 100-period exponential moving averages. This development suggests sellers continue to control short-term price movements.

Moreover, the Directional Movement Index highlights stronger selling activity than buying interest. The ADX reading of 27.18 also confirms meaningful bearish momentum.

Bitcoin now faces immediate support around $82,560. A breakdown below this level could trigger another decline toward $82,000.

Additionally, the 200-period EMA near $81,410 represents an important defensive level. Losing that support could expose the psychological $80,000 mark.

However, buyers could regain confidence if Bitcoin climbs above $83,600. A stronger recovery beyond $84,500 could encourage another attempt toward $86,000.

Ethereum Price Prediction: ETH Faces Another Test as Bears Maintain Control

Ethereum faces similar challenges after its recent retreat from the $2,700 region. ETH currently trades near $2,564, with sellers targeting the $2,535 support area.

Notably, Ethereum trades below all four major exponential moving averages. This alignment indicates that bearish pressure extends beyond immediate price fluctuations.

Besides, the ADX reading of 32.72 signals stronger directional momentum than Bitcoin currently shows. The negative directional indicator also maintains a substantial advantage over its positive counterpart.

Consequently, Ethereum could face additional losses if buyers fail to defend $2,535. The next downside targets include $2,500 and potentially $2,450.

However, a recovery above $2,575 could provide initial relief. Ethereum must reclaim $2,628 before traders can consider a more convincing short-term recovery.

XRP Price Prediction: XRP Approaches Key Support as Downtrend Deepens

XRP also faces increasing pressure as its price approaches the $1.3880 support level. The cryptocurrency currently trades around $1.4031 following another unsuccessful recovery attempt.

Significantly, a descending trendline continues to limit upside movements. XRP also remains below its major moving averages, reinforcing the prevailing bearish structure.

Moreover, its negative directional indicator stands at 41.29, highlighting aggressive selling activity. The ADX reading near 28.30 further supports the bearish outlook.

A sustained decline below $1.3880 could expose $1.3700 and eventually $1.3500. Conversely, reclaiming $1.4278 could encourage buyers to challenge $1.4524.
