  • TRON surpasses $30T in transfers, reinforcing its role as a leading stablecoin payment network.
  • TRON has logged over 405 million accounts and 15 billion total transactions since 2018.
  • TRON holds over $94 billion in circulating USDT with $6 trillion in transfers this year.

TRON has now processed more than $30 trillion in total transfers, marking another big milestone for the blockchain that’s increasingly staking its claim as the go-to infrastructure for stablecoin payments and transfers. It has also racked up over 405 million accounts and more than 15 billion transactions since its mainnet launched back in 2018.

It’s important to clarify that $30 trillion is the total transfer volume ever recorded on the blockchain. It’s not $30 trillion in unique economic activity, and it doesn’t represent $30 trillion sitting on TRON right now. Since tokens can move around multiple times, total blockchain volume can be much larger than the actual value of the assets behind it.

Stablecoins Lead the Charge

Stablecoins, especially Tether’s USDT, are at the heart of all this activity. TRON currently holds over $94 billion in circulating USDT, which is more than any other blockchain. According to Token Terminal, the network has seen about $6 trillion in USDT transfers in 2026 so far, roughly $25 billion a day on average.

Additionally, data from September 21 shows USDT on TRON made up slightly more than 16% of the platform’s payments in 2026, up from almost 10% in 2025.

In a recent 90 day period, USDT on TRON racked up about 1.8 times more payments than Bitcoin and 1.9 times more than Ethereum. TRON DAO also reported that stablecoin supply on the blockchain increased by $4.8 billion in 90 days.

TRON is Expanding its Institutional Infrastructure

The network is also building out its institutional side, amping up efforts in recent months. In September, Canary Capital rolled out the Canary Staked TRX ETF, and Bitnomial offered regulated spot in June and futures access to TRX in July.

In addition, in July, Anchorage Digital expanded its custody and staking support for TRON and TRX. Meanwhile, a month earlier, Securitize’s tokenized Hamilton Lane SCOPE Fund became the first Securitize asset to go live on TRON.

TRON’s $30 trillion volume underscores its role as a high-throughput stablecoin network rather than a pure value layer. With institutional integrations picking up, the next phase will depend on whether it can convert usage into deeper financial adoption.
