  • Trump will host the top 185 TRUMP coin holders in Washington, D.C., on Nov 22nd.
  • Trump has earned $635 million from his TRUMP coin since its 2025 token launch.
  • Buyers of Trump’s crypto products have lost $4.7 billion all combined so far.

President Donald Trump will host the top 185 buyers of his TRUMP meme coin at a dinner on November 22 in Washington, DC, the latest in a string of crypto-linked events drawing criticism from Democrats and watchdog groups who say he is selling access to the presidency.

What Buyers Actually Get

The event, held at Trump National in Washington, scores holders based on how much TRUMP coin they own and how long they hold it, from September 30 through a final count on November 12. The top 185 holders get a seat at the dinner and the top 29 also get a VIP reception. The top 4 VIP holders receive an 18-karat gold Trump watch.

The event page says there will be no private meetings with the president and no gifts accepted from guests. Sell all your coins, and you drop off the leaderboard completely.

This isn’t the first dinner of its kind. Trump hosted a similar event for meme coin holders in May 2025 at Trump National Golf Club, and another in April at Mar-a-Lago.

What Critics Are Saying

Trump has made $635 million from the TRUMP coin since it launched in 2025, part of the $1.4 billion he has disclosed earning from his businesses through last year. Buyers of his crypto products, meanwhile, have lost a combined $4.7 billion.

Zach Everson, a research director at Public Citizen who first spotted the new dinner listing, said Trump’s “crypto schemes keep trying to squeeze more money out of the presidency,” adding that “foreign buyers and special interests can compete for a seat at his dinner and the guests are vetted in secret.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom called it “SICK,” saying Trump “is selling access to the White House,” and noted California has already banned public officials from launching their own meme coins.

The CEO of TYT pointed to Trump’s disapproval rating, writing, “Bad news for Trump is that his disapproval is up to 69%. That’s massive. 7 out of 10 Americans can’t stand him. The good news is he’s holding the ‘most EXCLUSIVE DINNER IN THE WORLD’ for top 185 purchasers of his meme crypto. So, as we all suffer, he’ll be making even more money!”

The May 2025 dinner saw nearly 42% of invited wallets actively trade on the news, and the buzz around the March 2026 event helped drive a 49.65% price surge, with exchange activity climbing to 41 million tokens as interest in the token picked up.

Analyst Nate Geraci said he doubts this dinner would be happening if the CLARITY Act had passed, calling it a sign the administration is “going all-in on crypto over the next two years.”
