  • XRP Ledger non-empty wallets hit a record 8.24 million, but XRP sits in a range near $1.36.
  • Santiment recorded 4,772 new XRP wallets in one day, the fifth-highest daily spike in six months.
  • Santiment says $1.40 is the first XRP level to watch, with $1.50 the next target.

The number of non-empty wallets on the XRP Ledger has reached an all-time high of 8.24 million, according to blockchain data firm Santiment, even as XRP trades in a tight band near $1.36. At the time of writing, XRP is down 2% and is trading near $1.33.

What the Chart Shows

Santiment’s chart tracks the total holder count, daily new-wallet creation, and XRP’s price from May to late October.

Three key observations stand out:

  • The holder count has climbed steadily across the whole period, with no visible pullback, while the price rose and fell around it.
  • Daily new-wallet creation reached 4,772, the fifth-highest one-day spike in six months.
  • The largest spike on the chart came in early September and was several times higher than the latest reading. That earlier surge didn’t hold the price at its peak, reinforcing the point that rising user numbers haven’t translated into rising prices.

Levels Santiment Is Watching

Santiment said the first level to watch is $1.40. A sustained move above it, with new wallets staying near or above 4,000 a day, would make a return to $1.50 “more than plausible.” A fall below $1.30, with daily wallet creation dropping below 3,000, would weaken the adoption signal in the short term.

Why the Price Has Not Followed

Analyst ChartNerd said the last 10 weeks have been frustrating for holders, with XRP trapped between resistance around $1.50 to $1.60 and support around $1.25 to $1.30. XRP price has spent two months between the weekly 20 and 50 exponential moving averages inside a parallel channel.

The analyst described this as normal compression after a 70% rally, and said it explains why positive news has not produced a matching rise in price.

Ripple Adds a Use Case, Stablecoin Supply Slips

Ripple said on Thursday that Arf, a settlement liquidity provider, is bringing its approach to the XRP Ledger. It plans to use Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin to provide licensed payment companies with short-term working capital as cross-border payments settle.

However, DefiLlama data showed stablecoin supply on the XRP Ledger fell 13% in a week to below $1 billion. The network still ranks 12th by stablecoin supply among blockchains, one place ahead of Aptos.

XRP Ledger’s growing wallet count points to continued network participation, but the price remains constrained by key resistance levels. Ripple’s planned RLUSD use case could support payment activity, although the recent decline in stablecoin supply presents a mixed picture. Whether stronger adoption translates into a sustained price recovery will depend on a breakout above resistance and continued growth in network activity.
