- Zcash price prediction stays range-bound near $1,531, coiling inside a triangle

- Co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson sticks with his $5,000 call but admits no explanation for the surge
Zcash Price Analysis: Which Side of the Triangle Breaks Next?

Zcash Price Analysis (Source: TradingView)
ZEC trades near $1,531.04, down 1.3% over the past 24 hours, consolidating just below the week’s high near $1,671 inside a narrowing symmetrical triangle that’s built since the September 20 low near $1,450.
Liquidity mapping shows a resting pool of sell-side liquidity just above $1,650, exactly where price got rejected twice this week, alongside a much larger buy-side liquidity pool stretching from roughly $1,050 down toward $750, built up during ZEC’s earlier September rally.
That imbalance matters. The nearby liquidity sits above price, at the triangle’s upper boundary, while the larger, more distant pool sits well below. A sweep of the $1,650 zone looks like the more immediate magnet for price given how close it sits, though the sheer size of the lower liquidity pool means any real breakdown below $1,450 could accelerate quickly once it’s triggered.

| Resistance | $1,671 |

Zcash News: Co-Founder Sticks With $5,000 Call, Doesn’t Know Why ZEC Is Surging
Zcash co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson said he still feels on track for his year-end $5,000 ZEC prediction, adding that whales keep asking him why the price is surging and he genuinely doesn’t have an explanation.
He was explicit that the remark isn’t investment advice.
Zcash News: Grayscale Files a ZEC High-Income ETF
Grayscale filed for a Zcash High Income ETF, a structure designed to generate yield without selling the underlying asset, according to researcher Ripple Bull Winkle.
He argued that if the model works, every major crypto ETF issuer will want a version of it, and floated XRP as a token positioned for the same treatment.
Trader Chad Steingraber separately called these high-income crypto ETFs potential “money printers” that never require selling the asset.
Zcash ETF Flows: Inflows Stall for a Third Straight Day
Grayscale’s ZCSH posted no net inflow on September 25, its third consecutive day without new inflows according to SoSoValue. The weekly total for September 25 still shows $35.17 million, but that reflects earlier-week activity rather than fresh buying in the last three sessions. Cumulative net inflows stand at $306.12 million, with total net assets at $995.68 million.
Weekly inflows have cooled sharply from their peak, $98.21 million for the week of September 18 and $101.89 million the week before that, compared to just $35.17 million this past week.
| ETF Metric | Value |
| Last 3 days net inflow | $0.00 |
| Weekly net inflow (Sep 25) | $35.17M |
| Cumulative net inflow | $306.12M |
| Total net assets | $995.68M |
Zcash Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for Next Week
Bullish Case, Target: $1,750
ZEC sweeps the $1,650 liquidity pool and closes above it, confirming a break of the triangle’s upper boundary. Renewed ETF inflows and continued attention on Grayscale’s high-income filing could support a push toward $1,750.
Bearish Case, Risk Level: $1,300
ZEC breaks below the triangle’s rising support near $1,450, triggering the much larger buy-side liquidity pool below. Continued stalled ETF inflows would fit that scenario, with price potentially accelerating toward $1,300 or lower once that zone is triggered.
Zcash Price Prediction FAQs
What is the Zcash price prediction for next week?
ZEC could extend toward $1,650 and then $1,750 if it breaks the triangle’s upper boundary. Losing the $1,450 support risks a faster move down toward $1,300, given the larger liquidity pool resting below.
Are Zcash ETFs still seeing inflows?
Not in the last three days. Grayscale’s ZCSH posted no net inflow from September 23 through September 25, though cumulative inflows remain positive at $306.12 million.
What is Grayscale’s ZEC High-Income ETF?
A filed ETF structure designed to generate yield on ZEC holdings without selling the underlying asset, a model researchers say could get replicated across other major crypto ETFs if it proves successful.
Does Zcash’s co-founder know why ZEC is rallying?
No. Eli Ben-Sasson said he still expects ZEC to hit $5,000 by year end but admitted he has no explanation for the current price surge when asked by whales.
