  • Bitget won two CFD awards at Wiki Finance Expo Hong Kong 2026 for trading innovation.
  • The company is expanding beyond crypto into multi-asset trading through its UEX platform.
  • Lewis Huang highlighted the need for unified infrastructure across global financial markets.

Bitget has won two industry awards at Wiki Finance Expo Hong Kong 2026 as it expands its Universal Exchange (UEX) ecosystem, which combines digital assets with traditional financial markets.

Specifically, Bitget received the Outstanding All-Asset Innovation Platform – Global and Leading Innovative Trading Platform – Asia awards. According to the exchange, the honors reflect its focus on CFD, multi-asset trading, and broader market access.

Bitget Expands Beyond Crypto

Bitget has been broadening its product lineup beyond cryptocurrencies. It now offers access to tokenized equities, commodities, forex, indices, and other traditional finance-linked products through a single trading platform.

According to the company, its Universal Exchange model reduces the complexity of trading across multiple asset classes. Instead of using separate platforms, accounts, and funding systems, users can access different markets through one ecosystem.

Lewis Huang, CFD Chief Analyst at Bitget, said the growing number of investment opportunities has increased the need for more integrated trading infrastructure. Huang said,

“Markets have never offered more opportunity. Yet many traders are unable to respond efficiently across these markets—not because they lack ideas, but because their trading infrastructure is fragmented.”

Huang Discusses Cross-Asset Trading at Expo

In addition to accepting the awards, Huang represented Bitget in two sessions at Wiki Finance Expo Hong Kong 2026. He delivered a keynote titled “One Account, Global Investment: The Cross-Asset Trading Revolution in the UEX Era.”

During the presentation, he explained how unified access to multiple markets could reshape modern trading platforms. Huang also joined a panel discussion, “Institutional Liquidity and the Evolution of Crypto Markets.”

The session explored how liquidity, trading infrastructure, and product design are changing as traditional finance and digital assets become more closely connected.

Bitget Pushes for Unified Trading

Huang said many investors now manage portfolios that include cryptocurrencies, commodities, forex, and equities. However, they still face operational challenges because these assets are often traded through separate accounts and capital pools.

He said the Universal Exchange model allows users to trade multiple asset classes from a single account. According to Huang, this can improve capital efficiency and reduce barriers between markets.

“The future of trading should be borderless, frictionless, and all-encompassing,” Huang said. He added that Web3’s speed and around-the-clock liquidity can complement the scale and maturity of traditional financial markets.

Universal Exchange Remains a Key Growth Strategy

Bitget said the awards reflect its goal of evolving from a crypto-focused exchange into a comprehensive multi-asset trading platform. The company added that its UEX initiative aims to bring digital assets and traditional financial products together in one trading ecosystem. It said the strategy is intended to meet growing demand for integrated cross-market investment solutions.
