- Bitget adds eight new CFD instruments covering metals, energy, and stock market indices.
- The new contracts offer up to 20x leverage on metals and energy, and 50x on indices.
- The expansion supports Bitget’s Universal Exchange strategy to bring more global markets onto one platform.
Bitget has added eight new CFD trading options covering industrial metals, energy, and stock market indices in Asia and Europe.
The move allows traders to bet on commodity prices and stock market movements through Bitget’s platform. It is part of the company’s Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy to bring different types of assets together in one place.
Bitget Adds Metals, Energy, and Stock Market Indices
The eight new CFD instruments include three industrial metals, one energy product, and four regional equity indices.
Specifically, the industrial metals are Aluminium (XALUSD), Zinc (XZNUSD), and Lead (XPBUSD). The energy addition is Low Sulphur Gasoil (GASOIL). Meanwhile, the four stock market indices are Hang Seng TECH (HSTECH), Taiwan RIC (TWRICC), Netherlands 25 (NETH25), and Switzerland 20 (SWI20).
These additions let traders trade changes in commodity prices and stock markets across Europe and Asia. They also give traders more ways to respond to economic news, industrial demand, and market trends beyond cryptocurrencies.
New CFD Instruments Offer Up to 50x Leverage
Bitget said the new CFD contracts offer different leverage limits depending on the asset. The three metals and Low Sulphur Gasoil offer up to 20x leverage, while the four stock market indices offer up to 50x. Traders can open long positions if they expect prices to rise or short positions if they expect prices to fall.
Bitget offers all eight instruments across four account types: ECN, 0% Fee, Pro, and Standard+. The exchange said it checked liquidity and price stability before listing the new contracts.
The new instruments use the platform’s existing CFD system, with the same settings across all four account types.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said more traders are showing interest in markets beyond cryptocurrencies.
“Crypto is only one part of what people want to trade today. We’re seeing growing interest in commodities, stocks and indices, and our platform needs to reflect that,” Chen said.
She added that the new instruments give traders more ways to respond to changes in global markets. The expansion is part of Bitget’s Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy.
With these additions, Bitget is expanding its traditional financial products alongside its existing crypto and tokenized assets. The goal is to let users trade a wider range of global markets through a single platform.
