Bitget has introduced Sub-Accounts for CFD trading, allowing professional and high-net-worth traders to manage multiple MT5 accounts under one main account. The feature helps users run different trading strategies separately while keeping positions, execution, and risk management independent.
Separate MT5 Accounts for Different Strategies
The new Sub-Accounts feature is useful for traders running multiple strategies, including automated trading with Expert Advisors (EAs). Instead of putting all strategies into one MT5 account, users can give each strategy its own CFD sub-account. This keeps trades, risk, margin, and performance separate.
By default, users can create up to five CFD sub-accounts, each with its own MT5 ID. The sub-accounts use the main account’s KYC and risk settings, so users don’t need to complete verification again.
Centralized Control and Risk Monitoring
Trading stays separate across sub-accounts, but the main account controls everything. From one dashboard, users can check equity, margin levels, and order history for all linked CFD accounts. They can also manage and reset trading and read-only passwords for each sub-account.
Risk alerts are sent separately for each account. Margin calls and liquidation alerts go to the email and app linked to the affected sub-account, helping users respond quickly to specific risks.
Bitget Expands Its CFD Infrastructure
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said professional traders often run several strategies at the same time, which can make trading harder to manage.
<blockquote> “Sub-Accounts enable users to keep those strategies separate while managing them from one place,” Chen said. She added that the company wants to reduce operational friction as it expands its CFD offering. <blockquote>
The launch is part of Bitget’s wider plan to combine crypto and traditional financial products on one platform. By using separate MT5 accounts with centralized management, traders can better organize automated strategies, trades, and risk while keeping everything under one Bitget account.
