  • Stacks price prediction stays bullish above $0.3714, with the ascending channel’s lower line near $0.40 as the key level to hold
  • Stacks’ second Bitcoin staking bond filled its full capacity at about 500 BTC, with more than 6.7 million STX bonded alongside it
  • STX’s RSI has printed a bearish divergence since September even as price keeps climbing, a signal worth watching into next week

Stacks price prediction for this week stays bullish above $0.3714, the level STX needs to hold inside its rising channel after a sharp bond-driven rally.

Stacks Price Analysis: Can STX Hold Its Ascending Channel Above $0.40?

STX trades near $0.43, up 4.75% today, inside a rising channel that has carried price from a June low near $0.13 to today’s high of $0.4491. The channel’s midline sits close to $0.40, and today’s low of $0.4033 tested that area before the bounce, so a daily close back below it would be the first sign of strain.

The 20-day EMA at $0.3714 marks the next support below the channel, with the 50-day at $0.3157 further down. RSI sits at 73.48, in overbought territory, and the chart shows a bearish divergence forming since September, where price has kept making higher highs while RSI has traced a flatter, lower pattern across the same stretch. That kind of divergence doesn’t guarantee a reversal, but it does flag fading momentum behind the latest leg higher.

STX News: Second Bitcoin Staking Bond Sells Out at 500 BTC

Stacks’ second Bitcoin staking bond filled its entire capacity at approximately 500 BTC, with more than 6.7 million STX bonded alongside it, Stacks said on X. The product pays 3% yield on BTC, settled in BTC, and most participation came through Stacking DAO’s liquid staking product, where Stacking DAO alone brought in 483 BTC, and through Xverse’s pool.

Every bonded BTC position requires a paired STX position as staking capacity, roughly 5% of the BTC committed, based on terms from the program’s first bond, which directly ties Bitcoin staking demand to STX being locked up. These are temporary locks rather than token burns.

A third bond is expected to open around November 10, with direct participation requiring a 50 BTC minimum and open pooled routes available through Stacking DAO, Xverse and Esbee DAO.

STX News: Price and Volume Jump Alongside the Bond News

STX volume is up roughly 314% to $98.39 million, according to CoinMarketCap data from October 13.

The platform’s own commentary linked the move to anticipation of the third bond, though that’s one interpretation of the rally rather than confirmed cause.

STX News: Treasury Spent $4.5 Million Plus 8.4 Million STX in Q3

The Stacks Endowment’s Q3 report, published October 5, showed about $15.3 million in liquid treasury assets and 58.6 million STX held as of September 15.

The treasury spent roughly $4.5 million in fiat plus 8.4 million STX (about $1.75 million) during the quarter, and said lower STX prices earlier in the year meant more tokens were needed to cover costs than planned. The Endowment said it is tapering spending following the price recovery and does not sell STX on the open market.

STX News: Muneeb Ali Named CEO of Stacks Labs

Stacks founder Muneeb Ali became CEO of Stacks Labs on September 30, with interim CEO Alex Miller moving into an advisory role.

The announcement framed the change around expanding Bitcoin staking adoption, institutional relationships, and distribution, including engagement in Korea, the Middle East and Hong Kong.

Stacks Price Prediction: Can STX Reach $0.50 or Fall to $0.32?

Bullish Case, Target: $0.50

STX holds the channel’s midline near $0.40 and the 20-day EMA at $0.3714, then closes a day above today’s $0.4491 high. That would keep price inside the upper half of its rising channel, with continued bond demand ahead of the November 10 Bond 3 opening adding support.

Bearish Case, Risk Level: $0.32 (50-Day EMA)

STX loses the channel midline near $0.40 and the 20-day EMA at $0.3714, confirming the bearish RSI divergence already visible on the chart. A close below that zone would put the 50-day EMA at $0.3157 in play, and a further drop would test the channel’s lower boundary.

Stacks Price Prediction FAQs

What is the Stacks price prediction for this week?

Stacks (STX) could extend toward $0.4491 and then $0.50 if it holds above $0.3714. A close below the 50-day EMA at $0.3157 would signal the rally is losing steam.

Why is STX rallying this week?

STX is up sharply after Stacks’ second Bitcoin staking bond sold out at about 500 BTC with over 6.7 million STX bonded alongside it. Trading volume jumped roughly 314% over 24 hours as price followed, according to CoinMarketCap.

What is Stacks’ Bitcoin staking bond program?

It’s a product that lets BTC holders earn yield, paid in BTC, by committing Bitcoin alongside a paired STX position as staking capacity. The second bond filled its full 500 BTC capacity, and a third bond is expected to open around November 10.

Is STX’s current rally showing warning signs?

Possibly. RSI sits at 73.48, in overbought territory, and the chart shows a bearish divergence forming since September, where price keeps making higher highs while RSI has traced a weaker pattern. That doesn’t confirm a reversal, but it’s a signal worth watching if price stalls.
