- Cardano’s CIP-0113 brings ledger-enforced compliance rules to native token transfers.
- Gyld plans Q4 corporate bonds as Superstate presents onchain securities tools in Asia.
- Project Eleven launches Strongpoint with Zcash Foundation as a development partner.
The Cardano Foundation announced that its CIP-0113 programmable token standard is live on mainnet, enabling issuers to build compliance rules into native tokens.
Presented at TOKEN2049 Singapore, the launch accompanied announcements covering corporate bonds, securities issuance and digital asset custody, alongside plans to bring the conference to New York.
Cardano Embeds Compliance Rules in Native Assets
Under CIP-0113, issuers of stablecoins, funds and bonds can embed know-your-customer checks, sanctions screening and transfer restrictions. The Cardano ledger enforces these rules whenever tokens are transferred, minted, or burned.
The foundation said the standard underwent multiple independent security audits and required no hard fork. Issuers can update compliance modules without changing the core standard.
The Swiss Capital Markets and Technology Association recognized CIP-113 Programmable Asset Tokens as equivalent to CMTAT smart contracts for its certification scheme. This permits their use in certifying ledger-based equity securities under CMTA standards.
Eternl, GeroWallet, CardanoScan and BloxBean support the standard, allowing issuers and holders to access and verify programmable tokens through existing ecosystem tools once integration is complete.
Gyld and Superstate Detail Onchain Securities Plans
Separately, Gyld Finance outlined fourth-quarter plans to bring individual USD corporate bonds onchain for curators, protocols, and asset managers building fixed-income products.
The planned issuance would allow teams to select securities according to issuer exposure, maturity and portfolio concentration. Gyld also intends to engage prospective integration and distribution partners.
Superstate, meanwhile, introduced its onchain capital markets suite to Asian investors and issuers. FundOS supports private funds, mutual funds and ETFs, while Opening Bell makes public-company shares available natively on Ethereum and Solana.
Its Direct Issuance Program enables companies to raise capital without an underwriter. Superstate reported more than $1 billion onchain across funds managed by Invesco, Bitwise, Coinbase Asset Management and Valinor.
Strongpoint Addresses Post-Quantum Custody Requirements
Addressing custody requirements, Project Eleven introduced Strongpoint, a platform designed to preserve key management, transaction approval and audit controls as networks adopt different cryptographic standards.
The Zcash Foundation joined as an initial development partner, helping shape institutional custody architecture and support requirements for shielded ZEC. Project Eleven said 10 of the 20 largest assets in CoinGecko’s layer-1 category had published network-specific post-quantum migration plans. Their approaches span at least six proposed signature schemes.
TOKEN2049 Schedules New York Debut for June 2027
Alongside the product announcements, TOKEN2049 organizers confirmed their first U.S. edition for June 16–17, 2027, in New York, with 15,000 attendees expected.
New York will become the conference’s third permanent flagship destination alongside Singapore and Dubai. In addition, TOKEN2049 Week will extend the gathering beyond the two-day conference through a citywide program of events.
