Binance is set to remove 12 cryptocurrencies from its Binance Alpha platform, triggering fresh concerns among affected token holders. The exchange plans to implement the changes late Friday, September 4, as part of its ongoing review of listed assets.

MTP, BDXN, and TALE rank among the tokens facing removal. However, BOS, MAIGA, TIMI, U, SERAPH, RVV, AIAV, PENGUIN, and SN3 will also leave the platform.

Trading Access Remains

Significantly, the move does not immediately block users from accessing their holdings. Binance said deposits will stop following the removal. However, users can continue selling or withdrawing the affected tokens after the change.

Additionally, holders can move their assets to external wallets through Binance Alpha. Users can also sell their tokens through the platform’s Instant trading option.

What Holders Should Watch

Besides the immediate changes, the delisting could affect liquidity and market confidence surrounding these projects. Binance often reviews assets for factors including volatility, liquidity, and market integrity.

Consequently, traders may face wider spreads or increased price swings after removal. Moreover, reduced exchange exposure could limit visibility for some tokens.
