Perpetuals.com plans to offer tokenized U.S. stocks under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed five-year Innovation Exemption framework. The Nasdaq-listed company announced the plan on October 14, but the service remains subject to regulatory requirements.

The company has not disclosed a launch date, the blockchain it will use or which stocks it plans to offer.

Securitize Enters Tokenized Stock Market

Securitize launched tokenized U.S. stock entitlements on Solana on October 8, including products linked to Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla. The company said the tokens are backed one-to-one by underlying shares.

Perpetuals.com says tokenized stocks could enable trading beyond regular market hours, fractional ownership and faster settlement. Investors could also retain dividend and voting rights, although the company has not explained how its proposed service would hold underlying shares or manage those rights.
