Pump.fun has introduced a referral program offering users $50 when a referred trader deposits $50 and trades through its app. The Solana-based platform announced the program on X on October 16, alongside a temporary fourfold rewards boost and lower trading fees for referred users.
Referred traders receive about a 10% fee discount, while referrers can earn rewards tied to their activity on the platform.
Pump.fun Redirects Trading Fees Into Rewards
Pump.fun charges a 0.45% platform fee and directs revenue not paid to referrers toward its Callout Rewards pool. The platform will maintain its existing $300,000 daily rewards baseline, with additional revenue allocated to incentives.

Co-founder Alon said Pump.fun had distributed nearly $20 million in user rewards over about two months. He questioned whether the existing system could provide predictable increases in payouts as activity grew.
Referral Push Targets 10 Million Users
Alon said Pump.fun aims to reach 10 million app users. The temporary fourfold rewards boost offers another incentive for users to bring new traders to the platform.
The program follows reports that Pump.fun’s app was temporarily unavailable on the iOS App Store in the United States and India. Existing installations continued to work, while Android downloads remained available.
Pump.fun also faces racketeering claims. The legal dispute continued after a federal judge dismissed securities claims against the platform’s operator and other defendants.
