- Dogecoin price prediction stays bullish above $0.0932, targeting $0.1055 first and $0.1180 next
- Dogecoin closed October higher in six of 12 years, with a median gain of 3.43%
- DogeOS opened a public testnet for Dogecoin apps on September 30, ahead of mainnet
Dogecoin price prediction for October stays bullish above $0.0932, the level DOGE needs to hold to keep its August breakout intact.
Dogecoin Price Analysis: Can DOGE Hold Its August Breakout Into October?
DOGE is holding its breakout so far, trading near $0.0957, up 1.24% today, above a descending trendline that had capped every rally since the January high near $0.156, including the May high. That line held as support on a mid-September retest near $0.08 before DOGE ran to $0.1055, and the pullback since has so far held around the 200-day EMA at $0.0932 and the 20-day EMA at $0.0921.
A daily close above $0.1000 would put the $0.1055 high back in view, while a slip below both averages would point to the 50-day EMA at $0.0871. The Supertrend is still in buy mode, so the broader trend leans up.

Dogecoin October Seasonality: Six Gains in 12 Years
DOGE has closed October higher in six of 12 completed years since 2014, with an average gain of 8.94% and a median of 3.43%. The 105.8% jump in 2022 pulls the average up, so the median is the better guide. October gained in four straight years from 2021 to 2024 before falling 20% in 2025, and this October opens at 1.40% on its first day.
September 2026 finished at 14.1% in a month with a median loss of 0.15%. Applied to the October 1 open near $0.0945, the median implies about $0.0978 and the average about $0.1030, both historical references rather than targets.
DOGE News: DogeOS Opens a Public Testnet for Dogecoin Apps
DogeOS, built by the team behind the MyDoge wallet, opened a public testnet on September 30. A testnet is a trial network where developers build and test apps before the real launch. It is compatible with Ethereum’s coding standard, so developers who already build for Ethereum-style chains can create Dogecoin apps with the tools they know.
According to the press release, teams are already working on lending, a perpetual exchange, a stablecoin, launchpads, a prediction market aggregator and games. DogeOS Founder and CEO Jordan Jefferson said the project aims to supply what DOGE has been missing, adding that the launch begins “Dogecoin’s evolution from asset to ecosystem.” Dogecoin Foundation director Timothy Stebbing said the main ledger should stay unchanged, with the new apps built a layer above it.

For DOGE holders, this is a development milestone rather than a demand driver for now. The release gives no mainnet date and does not say how the apps would affect demand for the token.
DOGE News: Trader Tardigrade Says DOGE Is in a Rare Accumulation Zone
Trader Tardigrade said on X earlier that Dogecoin reaches its best accumulation zone once every few years. He says each time DOGE consolidated, RSI stayed low and price then surged, citing 2015 to 2017, 2019 to 2020 and 2022 to 2023, and he marked 2026 with a question mark.
His monthly chart extends a projected path higher into 2027, but the post names no price target, and the pattern rests on three prior cycles, so it is one trader’s framework rather than a confirmed forecast.
DOGE ETF Flows: A Possible Third Straight Weekly Inflow
US spot Dogecoin ETFs took in $2.89 million in the week ending September 25, the largest weekly inflow in the table’s range, which starts in mid-June according to SoSoValue.
The current week shows $327.36K through September 30 with two days still to report, so a positive finish would make it a third straight weekly inflow after a $343.58K outflow in the week ending September 4 and a flat week on September 11.
Total net assets stand at $16.66 million against cumulative net inflows of $15.59 million, so the funds remain small.
| ETF Metric | Value |
| Weekly net inflow, week ending Sep 25 | +$2.89M |
| Net inflow, week to Sep 30 (2 days left) | +$327.36K |
| Weekly net inflow, week ending Sep 18 | +$284.51K |
| Cumulative net inflow | $15.59M |
| Total net assets | $16.66M |

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios for October
Bullish Case, Target: $0.1180
DOGE holds the 200-day EMA at $0.0932, closes a day above $0.1000, then clears the $0.1055 September high. That opens the May high near $0.1180, provided ETF inflows keep building.
Bearish Case, Risk Level: $0.0871 (50-Day EMA)
DOGE loses $0.0932 and the 20-day EMA at $0.0921, then slips below the 50-day EMA at $0.0871. A daily close under that level would expose the 100-day EMA at $0.0854 and the $0.0800 area near the mid-September low.

Dogecoin Price Prediction FAQs
DOGE could extend toward $0.1055 and then $0.1180 in October if it holds above $0.0932 and closes above $0.1000. A daily close below the 50-day EMA at $0.0871 would put the 100-day EMA at $0.0854 in play.
$0.15 would need a gain of about 57% from $0.0957, near the January high around $0.156, and only one of the 12 completed Octobers since 2014 gained more, 105.8% in 2022. $1 would need about 945%, roughly nine times the best October in CryptoRank’s data, and nothing in this month’s setup points to it.
Yes, if it loses the 200-day EMA at $0.0932 and the 50-day EMA at $0.0871. $0.08 is a drop of about 16.4%, and three of the 12 completed Octobers fell by more, in 2014, 2018 and 2025. The mid-September low near $0.079 sits just below that level.
DOGE closed October higher in six of 12 completed years from 2014 through 2025, with an average gain of 8.94% and a median of 3.43%. The 105.8% gain in 2022 lifts the average, and the last two Octobers split, with a 41.4% gain in 2024 and a 20% loss in 2025.
