Dubai’s W Hotel The Palm Now Accepts SHIB As Payment Method

Cryptocurrency-friendly travel website, Travala announced on Twitter that Shiba Inu tokens are now accepted as a payment method in Dubai’s luxury 5 star hotel brand W Hotel’s The Palm, owned by Marriott Internation.

The tweet also shared a video of the luxury property featuring a private beach with views of Dubai’s stunning skyline, alongside the Arabian Gulf.

Travala has already enabled cryptocurrency payments including support for the Shiba Inu token back in December 2021, making SHIB an acceptable payment method for users on the website.

Currently, SHIB is used as a payment method for over three million travel and hospitality products and services across the world on Travala. This includes flights, hotels, accomodation and travel packages.

Moreover, the Shiba Inu token can additionally be used to book luxury automobile brands and supercars, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, McLaren, Aston Martin and Bugatti.

In other news, as reported by IntoTheBlock, large transactions are usually caused by crypto whales trying to process trades typically worth more than $100,000. SHIB experienced a 126% increase in large transactions in the last 24 hours, indicating that Shiba Inu tokens were traded very frequently.

Furthermore, the Shibburn Twitter account shared that in the past 24 hours, 40,128,196 $SHIB tokens were burned and 3 transactions were recorded while the current circulating supply stands at 561,229,809,696,330. The latest burns and transactions can be viewed on the Shibburn website. Moreover, SHIB is currently trading at a value of $0.000011 USD.
