  • Ripple launched Ripple Mint to streamline institutional RLUSD minting, redemption, and management.
  • Ripple Mint automates institutional RLUSD operations through web and API-based workflows.
  • RLUSD expands to 40+ networks as Ripple extends multichain stablecoin access.

Ripple Mint has become Ripple’s latest platform for institutions seeking direct access to Ripple USD (RLUSD), introducing new tools for minting, redeeming, and managing the regulated stablecoin through both web-based and automated workflows.

The launch also supports Ripple’s broader strategy to expand RLUSD across additional blockchain networks. Alongside the rollout, the company introduced new integration features designed to help institutions manage large-scale stablecoin operations.

Ripple Mint Adds Automated RLUSD Management

Ripple Mint introduces a unified platform that enables institutions to mint, redeem, bridge, and monitor RLUSD via a user interface or application programming interfaces (APIs). Ripple said the platform supports customers that require automation, real-time transaction visibility, and integration with existing internal systems.

The company added webhook notifications for key events, including fiat receipt, mint processing, blockchain settlement, and payout completion. Ripple also said institutions can programmatically access account balances, track transaction status, and use consistent reference IDs throughout the minting and redemption process.

Ripple Mint Supports RLUSD Multichain Expansion

Separately, Ripple announced that RLUSD is expanding beyond the XRP Ledger and Ethereum. Through Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers framework, the stablecoin now supports the XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain, extending native transfers across more than 40 blockchain networks.

Ripple said the expansion allows institutions to move native RLUSD between supported chains without relying on wrapped versions. The company stated that the rollout targets exchanges, decentralized finance protocols, payment applications, and other blockchain-based financial services.

According to CoinMarketCap, RLUSD had a circulating supply of 1.51 billion RLUSD. The company stated that cash, cash equivalents, and U.S. Treasuries back the stablecoin, with monthly independent attestations.
