  • Dogecoin trades below all major EMAs as bearish momentum continues to dominate trend.
  • Falling open interest shows traders remain cautious amid weak speculative demand.
  • Persistent spot outflows suggest sellers still control Dogecoin’s broader market trend.

Dogecoin continues to trade under heavy pressure as bearish market conditions limit every recovery attempt. The popular meme coin now hovers near $0.0699 after another rejection below key resistance, highlighting the market’s cautious mood. Buyers have struggled to build momentum despite several short-lived rebounds over recent weeks.

Technical Structure Remains Under Bearish Control

The daily chart continues to favor sellers across nearly every major timeframe. Dogecoin trades below its 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages. This alignment confirms that bearish momentum still dominates the broader trend.

Immediate support sits near $0.0690, which marks the recent swing low. A breakdown below this level could expose $0.0680, where buyers previously stepped into the market. If selling intensifies further, the decline could extend toward $0.0650.

However, bulls still have opportunities to improve sentiment. The first challenge remains the 20-day EMA near $0.0732. Clearing this barrier could encourage another push toward the Fibonacci resistance zone between $0.0752 and $0.0785. Moreover, reclaiming the 50-day EMA around $0.0788 would strengthen the recovery outlook and shift attention toward the 100-day EMA near $0.0867.

Momentum indicators also support the cautious outlook. The Stochastic RSI has rolled over, with the %K line remaining below the %D line. Consequently, buying strength appears to be fading after the recent bounce.

Falling Open Interest Reflects Trader Caution

Derivatives data paints a similar picture. Open interest has dropped sharply from earlier peaks above $5 billion and now sits near $1.09 billion. This decline shows that traders have reduced leveraged positions as price weakness continued.

Besides, stable open interest during recent sessions does not necessarily indicate renewed confidence. Instead, it suggests participants prefer waiting for stronger directional signals before increasing exposure. Without fresh speculative demand, price rallies may struggle to gain traction.

Spot Flows Continue to Favor Sellers

Spot market activity also highlights cautious investor behavior. Net outflows have consistently outweighed inflows for several months, reflecting ongoing distribution. Large withdrawal spikes appeared during October, January, February, and early June, reinforcing the broader bearish trend.

Additionally, occasional inflow bursts during April, May, and July failed to reverse the overall pattern. The latest net outflow of roughly $116.79K further suggests investors continue trimming exposure rather than accumulating positions. Hence, Dogecoin may require stronger buying demand and improving market sentiment before a sustainable upward trend can develop.

Technical Outlook for Dogecoin Price

Key levels remain in focus as Dogecoin attempts to stabilize after an extended decline:

Upside levels: $0.0732 (20-day EMA), $0.0752–$0.0785 Fibonacci resistance zone, and $0.0788 (50-day EMA). A decisive breakout above these barriers could pave the way for a move toward $0.0867 (100-day EMA).

Downside levels: $0.0690 remains the first line of support, followed by $0.0680 as a stronger demand zone. If selling pressure intensifies, DOGE could revisit $0.0650.

Resistance ceiling: The 50-day EMA at $0.0788 remains the key level that bulls must reclaim to shift the medium-term trend back in their favor.

The broader technical structure still favors sellers, with DOGE trading below all major moving averages. However, price has begun consolidating near support while open interest stabilizes, suggesting bearish momentum may be losing strength even as conviction remains limited.

Will Dogecoin Go Up?

Dogecoin’s near-term outlook depends on whether buyers can defend the $0.0690 support zone and generate enough momentum to reclaim the 20-day EMA at $0.0732. A sustained move above the $0.0752–$0.0788 resistance cluster would likely attract fresh buying interest and improve the chances of a recovery toward $0.0867.

On the other hand, continued spot outflows and subdued derivatives activity indicate traders remain cautious. If DOGE loses $0.0690, the decline could accelerate toward $0.0680 and potentially $0.0650.

For now, Dogecoin sits at a critical inflection point where stronger capital inflows and renewed market participation will determine whether the next major move is a bullish reversal or another leg lower.
