Bitget has won the Best Multi-Asset Technology Platform – APAC 2026 award at iFX EXPO Asia 2026. Held from October 8 to 9, the event brought together experts from the trading and financial services industries to discuss trends in digital assets and traditional finance.

The award recognizes Bitget’s efforts to bring crypto trading and traditional financial markets together on one platform through its Universal Exchange (UEX) model.

Bitget Expands Beyond Crypto

Over the past year, Bitget has added new assets to its platform, including tokenized U.S. stocks, stock-linked derivatives, gold, foreign exchange, and other commodities. This is part of its Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy, which lets users trade different types of assets on one platform without switching services.

The move comes as crypto exchanges and traditional brokers explore tokenization and ways to make financial markets more accessible beyond regular trading hours. Bitget aims to give both retail and professional traders more flexibility in managing their investments.

Bitget Improves Trading for Institutional Clients

Bitget is upgrading its trading systems to better serve professional and institutional traders. Through its contracts for difference (CFD) offering, the exchange is improving liquidity and market depth to help institutions and trading teams handle larger trades.

According to Bitget, these improvements aim to reduce the impact of large trades on prices, improve trade execution, and support trading in different market conditions. Retail traders may also benefit from better prices and a smoother trading experience.

Liquidity is essential for institutional traders because large orders move prices when there are not enough buyers and sellers in the market.

Gracy Chen Says Traders Want Access to More Markets

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the award recognizes the company’s progress in connecting different financial markets. She said traders increasingly want to trade crypto, stocks, gold, and other assets on one platform instead of using several.

Chen also noted that strong liquidity and fast trade execution will become more important as institutions trade across different markets. She added that Bitget will continue improving its Universal Exchange (UEX) platform to meet these needs.

Bitget Expands Its Universal Exchange Strategy

The award marks another step in Bitget’s plan to grow beyond cryptocurrency trading and offer more financial assets on one platform. Its Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy aims to bring crypto and traditional financial markets together, allowing users to access different assets through a single account.

As more platforms add tokenized assets and expand their services, Bitget hopes to attract traders who want access to multiple markets in one place.
