  • Five memecoins to watch in 2026 are AI, CASHCAT, JEANPHIL, TRUMP, and PUMP.
  • PUMP stands out for its platform revenue and token buybacks, while AI and CASHCAT tap into new trends.
  • Liquidity, community growth, and sustained demand matter more than hype.

Memecoins are no longer just dog-themed tokens. Some now attract attention through artificial intelligence, tokenized stocks, politics, online communities, and crypto trading platforms.

As 2026 nears its end, the big question is which tokens will maintain trading activity after the hype fades. Five memecoins stand out: Artificial Inu (AI), Cash Cat (CASHCAT), JEANPHIL, Official Trump (TRUMP), and Pump.fun (PUMP).

1. Artificial Inu (AI): AI Meets Tokenized Stocks

Artificial Inu is a meme coin on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 network launched on July 1, 2026, with a focus on tokenized stocks.

The token features an AI-themed dog mascot with trading liquidity paired against tokenized NVIDIA rather than ETH. Its market capitalization reportedly grew from about $1.5 million in early August to $135 million by August 30, before reaching around $300 million in early September.

Its appeal comes from two popular crypto narratives: artificial intelligence and tokenized stocks. As the year ends, traders will watch whether AI can sustain interest as Robinhood Chain grows.

2. Cash Cat (CASHCAT)

Cash Cat draws on Robinhood’s history and identity. An anonymous creator revived the CASHCAT name shortly after the network’s mainnet launch. The token reportedly gained more than 1,700% in a single day during its early run.

On August 6, it became the first meme coin on Robinhood Chain to be listed on the Robinhood app, giving it greater visibility. However, being available on an exchange does not guarantee lasting demand. Yet, its brand recognition, community, and exchange availability could help it attract continued attention.

3. JEANPHIL

JEANPHIL is a Solana-based memecoin launched on Pump.fun on September 19, 2026. It is built around the viral Jean Phil character and relies on memes and community support rather than a specific product.

One major development is a proposed token lock by a large holder who owns about 8.4% of the supply. According to the project’s account, @Greedoggo, the holder offered to lock around 3.85% of the total supply for up to 18 months using Streamflow.

JEANPHIL’s success will depend on whether its popularity lasts, its community grows, and the team follows through on its commitments. So, investors should also watch liquidity and trading activity. The project has warned about fake copies, so checking the official contract address is important.

4. Official Trump (TRUMP)

Official Trump is a political-themed memecoin whose price can be influenced by public attention and political events. The company behind the token, Fight Fight Fight, plans to host a gala on November 22 at Trump National in Washington, featuring President Donald Trump as the main speaker.

The event is expected to include the token’s top 185 holders, ranked by time-weighted holdings. The top 29 holders are eligible for a VIP reception, while the top four are expected to receive an 18-karat gold watch. The published rules reportedly exclude private meetings with the president.

The event could bring renewed attention to TRUMP as the date approaches. However, increased publicity does not necessarily mean long-term growth. Yet, TRUMP is worth monitoring because of its upcoming political catalyst, not because it is guaranteed to have stronger fundamentals than other tokens.

5. Pump.fun (PUMP)

PUMP differs from the other tokens because its value is tied to Pump.fun, a platform where users create and trade tokens. According to the platform’s official token page, 50% of its revenue is used to buy PUMP on the open market and burn the purchased tokens, reducing the supply.

Its dashboard showed approximately $473.93 million in cumulative buybacks and burns, equal to 16.981% of the original supply offset, based on the displayed October data.

This gives PUMP a more measurable story than memecoins that depend mainly on social media attention. Platform revenue and token buybacks provide indicators that traders can monitor.

In sum, PUMP’s performance depends partly on the success of its underlying platform, not just its popularity as a meme coin.

What Should Traders Watch?

These five tokens represent different trends:

  • Artificial Inu (AI): Artificial intelligence and tokenized stocks.
  • Cash Cat (CASHCAT): Robinhood Chain’s identity and exchange visibility.
  • JEANPHIL: Community engagement and online culture.
  • Official Trump (TRUMP): Political events and publicity.
  • Pump.fun (PUMP): Platform revenue, buybacks, and token supply.

But a good story alone is not enough. A token needs sustained demand to maintain its value after the initial excitement fades. Traders should also be prepared to exit when a trade stops working, as even popular meme coins lose much of their value when attention shifts elsewhere.
