  • XRP trades sideways as weak momentum keeps buyers below major resistance.
  • Falling open interest signals lower leverage while market conviction remains weak.
  • Exchange outflows continue supporting long-term holding despite cautious sentiment.

XRP continues to trade in a tight range after weeks of heavy selling, highlighting a market that still lacks strong conviction. Buyers have defended critical support levels, preventing another sharp decline. However, they have also failed to regain higher price zones that could shift the broader trend.

XRP Faces Strong Technical Barriers

XRP trades near $1.11 after recovering from its recent low around $1.01. However, the asset remains below its 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages. This structure shows that sellers still hold the advantage across the higher timeframe.

Moreover, price action reflects hesitation rather than confidence. XRP continues moving between approximately $1.07 and $1.12, creating a narrow consolidation zone.

Buyers must push the token above the 50-day EMA near $1.1375 before sentiment improves. A successful move could encourage another attempt toward the $1.18 and $1.23 resistance levels.

However, failure to maintain support around $1.0757 would likely expose the recent swing low near $1.0088. A break beneath that level could strengthen bearish pressure and delay any recovery attempt.

The Directional Movement Index also supports the current outlook. The positive directional indicator remains slightly below the negative indicator, while the ADX stays below 10. Hence, the market lacks a strong directional trend and continues favoring sideways movement.

Open Interest Suggests Leverage Has Cooled

Futures market activity tells another important story. Open interest has dropped significantly after reaching more than $10 billion during XRP’s earlier rally. Consequently, many leveraged positions have already left the market.

Recent data shows open interest stabilizing around $2.44 billion despite XRP holding above $1.10. Additionally, lower leverage reduces liquidation risks and may create healthier market conditions over time. Nevertheless, stronger participation must return before any sustained rally becomes realistic.

Exchange Outflows Offer Long-Term Support

Spot market activity paints a more constructive picture. Exchange outflows have consistently exceeded inflows for most of the observed period. Besides, several large withdrawal spikes suggest investors preferred holding XRP instead of preparing immediate sales.

Recently, daily net outflows have slowed to roughly $5.2 million while price remains stable. Consequently, selling pressure appears less aggressive than earlier this year. However, cautious sentiment still dominates the market.

Technical Outlook for XRP Price

Key levels remain clearly defined as XRP trades inside a narrow consolidation range following its extended correction.

Upside levels: $1.1065 (20-day EMA), $1.1375 (50-day EMA), and $1.1841 (0.618 Fibonacci) represent the first resistance cluster. A decisive breakout above these levels could open the path toward $1.2318, $1.2925, and eventually the 200-day EMA at $1.4211.

Downside levels: Immediate support sits at $1.0757, followed by the $1.0500–$1.0400 demand zone. The major floor remains at the recent swing low of $1.0088, where buyers previously stepped in.

Resistance ceiling: The $1.1375–$1.1841 area remains the critical barrier that bulls must reclaim to shift momentum back in their favor.

The technical structure suggests XRP is consolidating after a prolonged decline rather than establishing a new uptrend. Weak ADX readings confirm fading trend strength, while stable open interest indicates leverage has normalized. At the same time, persistent exchange outflows point to reduced selling pressure, creating a more balanced market.

Will XRP Go Up?

XRP’s near-term outlook depends on whether buyers can defend the $1.0757 support while generating enough momentum to reclaim the 50-day EMA at $1.1375. A successful breakout above that level could accelerate gains toward $1.18 and the $1.23–$1.29 resistance zone. Moreover, renewed participation in the futures market would strengthen the case for a sustained recovery.

However, failure to hold $1.0757 would increase the likelihood of another decline toward the key $1.0088 support. For now, XRP remains at a decisive crossroads. Improving exchange flows provide a constructive backdrop, but price must break above major resistance before a broader bullish reversal gains credibility.
